CLIMAVER® is suitable for the new market and for the renovation of aeraulic networks for tertiary buildings, public buildings, schools, hospitals, retirement homes, technical buildings, etc. such as residential buildings and collective housing.
With the CLIMAVER® system, ISOVER responds to the problems of professionals by offering a solution:
- More agile for simplified site management with a tailor-made product that can be shaped on site,
- More efficient thermally and acoustically thanks to the glass wool recognized for its high qualities of insulation,
- More economical in its cost price,
- More ecological thanks to the 100% recyclability of glass wool and its lower transport cost. CLIMAVER® is designed with at least 65% recycled materials.
With CLIMAVER®, ISOVER is positioning itself as a specialist in pre-insulated air ducts and helping to professionalise the sector.
Glass wool, CLIMAVER®'s No. 1 performance asset
Glass wool is recognized for its high insulating properties. It provides both thermal (λ0,032 W/mK) and sound (α) insulation of the ducts, in particular to overcome the hum of air flows in the ventilation ducts. CLIMAVER® pre-insulated panels have an A2-s1,d0 fire reaction, which meets safety requirements. They also provide optimum class C sealing, identical to that of the best metal ducts, limiting air leaks as much as possible.
Made of glass wool, a material made up of at least 65% recycled glass, these ducts are also infinitely recyclable.
CLIMAVER® has a low carbon footprint, around 10 kg/m².
All CLIMAVER® pre-insulated ducts have a smooth inner surface, inducing low pressure drops and are resistant to conventional cleaning methods.
Advantage no. 2: versatility and adaptation to any type of configuration
CLIMAVER® is an ultra-resistant and lightweight high-density glass wool panel, which makes it possible to build made-to-measure ventilation ducts, whatever the type of construction site.
The CLIMAVER® tools designed specifically allow very easy cuts. The finalization of the duct is done by stapling the cover strip, reinforced by an adhesive aluminum strip. The marking of the outer coating guides and facilitates cutting for singular parts.
Made on site and adaptable down to the millimetre, CLIMAVER® responds precisely to the constraints of construction sites – bends, angles, deviations, taps, branching, reductions, etc.).
Advantage no. 3: speed and reliability of installations
CLIMAVER® is an adaptable product that can be shaped on site. It is not necessary to order each part to be installed as is the case with traditional ductwork. CLIMAVER® makes it possible to shape each part of the duct directly on site for a perfect and tailor-made result. A straight section is done in less than 10 minutes flat!
Advantage n° 4: ease of transport and handling
Ultra light, CLIMAVER® pre-insulated ducts are at least twice as light as metal ducts. They offer perfect and foolproof rigidity, while ensuring easy handling thanks to their lower density, an important asset that reduces the difficulty of the installers' work.
Much less bulky than metal ducts, CLIMAVER® panels are compact, easier to transport, thus requiring fewer delivery trucks. Packed flat, they generate considerable space savings on construction sites involving greater ease of storage.
Advantage n° 5: an economical solution
CLIMAVER® is an economical solution that reduces costs in terms of supplies and installation thanks to the speed of execution of the work.
Cost provided installed: 60 to 85 €/m².
Support professionals and develop new skills through CLIMAVER® training
ISOVER has developed a new dedicated training module and a support system for learning and designing CLIMAVER® pre-insulated ducts.
This training is accessible without prerequisites for craftsmen in order to become specialized installers of CLIMAVER® ducts.
ISOVER training can be carried out in ISOVER training centers or on site. ISOVER aims to train installers in this new profession by developing the installation of pre-insulated ducts.
