Cermibitum, the new bituminous coatings for waterproofing foundations signed Cermix

Cermibitum, ready‐to‐use foundation protection

Cermix has been designing, developing and manufacturing industrial mortars since 1963. Today, Cermix offers a brand new range of Cermibitum bituminous coatings developed to provide a long-term response to all the problems of protection and waterproofing of foundations. With Cermibitum, Cermix offers solutions that allow intervention from the first stages of the construction site. It is also for the brand, an expansion of the range of special mortars which reflects its determination to be present in all families of construction trades through ever more expert, targeted and effective solutions.

Cermibitum is a range made up of three products (IMP, FIBER and TIX) which meet the most demanding criteria of customers in terms of performance and lifespan.

Intended for buried structures and constructions in the fields of industry and building, Cermibitum is distinguished by its technical performance (high covering power, high watertightness and elasticity), its comfort of use (solvent-free and odorless products) and its comfort of application (products ready to use and easy to apply). Cermibitum covers many areas of use and allows for durable and flexible waterproofing.

Also note that Cermibitum is packaged in such a way as to facilitate transport (pots with a wide handle for a better grip).

Cermibitum IMP

Intended to prevent moisture from penetrating into concrete, plaster and masonry work, Cermibitum IMP is a ready-to-use bituminous coating, solvent-free, fluid and easily applicable by roller. Its high covering power allows a thin application (1 mm). It can be used pure as a protective paint against ground humidity or diluted with water as a primer.

Available in 10 L and 25 L buckets.

Cermibitum Fiber

As part of the waterproofing of foundations, cellars and retaining walls, Cermix offers its new Cermibitum Fiber solution.

A thick, single-component bituminous layer, developed on the basis of a bitumen emulsion, fiber-reinforced and improved with resins, Cermibitum Fiber is immediately ready to use and particularly easy to spread. This flexibility of implementation

allows professionals to work faster. Cermibitum Fiber effectively protects the foundations or exterior parts of a building on the ground, for example, against any water infiltration.

Cermibitum TIX

Cermibitum TIX is a Cermix innovation developed to intervene in the waterproofing of buried bases. This is one of the first waterproof bituminous coatings in its category, designed in a lighter version. Its innovative formulation, based on polystyrene beads and a bitumen emulsion, gives it a lightness that contributes to significantly improving the working comfort of the applicator. Benefiting from Cermix expertise, this waterproofing product is an effective barrier against any infiltration.
