The three professional founding member organizations of this group nevertheless retain their specificities and their independence.
Something new in the real estate diagnostic landscape! With the creation of the Group of Federated Professionals of Real Estate Diagnostics (GPFDI), it is a question of recognizing the common desire of the CDI-FNAIM, the FIDI and SIDIANE and their leaders to work together more effectively, to be as representative as possible of diagnosticians in their diversity and to have greater influence vis-à-vis government and regulatory authorities. The challenge is to take full part in the consultation, advice and decision-making bodies which shape the market and its structuring.
As indicated in the statutes of this joint association, this Group sets itself the goals of “intervening on themes decided collectively by its members, representing its members and the sector with public authorities, the administration and all organizations of any kind. nature having an interaction with the sector but also to analyze problems encountered by the sector and seek solutions”.
The first three subjects are already on the agenda of the Group and its members, on which there is a unanimous desire to commit together. All relate to energy renovation:
- Longitudinal monitoring of the work of diagnosticians (observing and exploiting the individual statistics of certified staff), cheaper, more relevant and more effective to strengthen the ongoing quality of the work of all real estate diagnostic professionals;
- The harmonization of the practices of certification bodies, currently too disparate, within the framework of control grids for energy performance diagnostics (DPE) and tomorrow for energy audits;
- The development of schedules for renewing the certifications of real estate diagnosticians with regard again to DPE and energy audits, in order to make it more efficient. It will thus make it possible to meet the needs of the market, undoubtedly growing strongly on January 1, 2025, while allowing competence to be maintained.
Main other interest of the creation of this group, ensuring the representation of the sector in consultative bodies such as the National Housing Council, the Renovation Committee, the MaPrimeRénov committee... which require a single voice per profession involved . Without this Association, real estate diagnosticians would be excluded. All these organizations support the Government and its administration but also the legislator on the issues of energy renovation, housing, works, occupational health, etc. Often consultative bodies, providing advice on the enactment of laws and standards, but which may also have powers of control and regulation of these activities with direct and concrete impacts on the diagnostic market, diagnosticians, their profession and their obligations.
As such, the Group of Federated Professionals of Real Estate Diagnostics (GPFDI), which has appointed Jean Christophe PROTAIS as holder and Lionel JANOT as substitute, is pleased to join the Higher Council for Construction and Energy Efficiency (CSCE). They will carry the voice of real estate diagnosticians, absent until now. However, all the decisions that have impacted the sector in recent years have been previously targeted by this body. Each time, the CSCEE, chaired by former MP Christophe CARESCHE, issued a substantiated advisory opinion, made public and often publicized, before any Government decision, legislative or regulatory.
This first step forward is significant and useful for making the voice of diagnosticians heard and supporting the sector in a relevant manner in its development and structuring.
For Jean-Christophe PROTAIS, President of SIDIANE, representative of the real estate diagnosis at the CSCEE, designated by the GPFDI: “Thank you to the CSCEE for welcoming the representatives of the real estate diagnosis sector, the pivot of energy renovation. We are aligned to work in the interests of diagnosticians: independents, SMEs and large companies in the sector. »
For Lionel Janot, president of the FIDI, alternate representative of real estate diagnostics at the CSCEE, designated by the GPFDI and Yannick Ainouche, president of the CDI-FNAIM and treasurer of the GPFDI, on behalf of the Alliance du Diagnostic Immobilier: “Bringing together and representing the entire sector with a single voice on subjects that reach consensus is essential for our sector. It is by listening to and integrating the interests of all, regardless of size or economic model, that we will evolve faster and more efficiently. This is the key to meeting the current and future challenges of our sector. »
