In line with its approach, the company is launching two new ranges of increasingly responsible solutions: BB slabs for sustainable construction and photovoltaic canopies to be installed in outdoor parking lots.
BB slabs, an innovation for sustainable construction
Designed to meet the requirements of RE2020, the BB (Wood/Concrete) slab designed by A2C Matériaux and produced by CAPREMIB is a prefabricated, custom-made ribbed slab. To reduce its carbon footprint, it incorporates low-carbon reinforced concrete, bio-sourced insulation made from wood fibers from recycled or reindustrialized natural wood waste, and recycled steel. The ribbed BB slab is made up of a 6 cm table at the bottom and ribs that are 12 cm wide at the top and spaced 60 cm apart. Compressed wood fiber panels are placed between each rib.
The range is available in 6 models of different thicknesses (from 20 to 35 cm). The BB slab has a carbon footprint of 11.9 kg eq Co2 / m2, including 9.5 kg / m2 of bio-sourced for the 15 cm thick BB slab.
With its simple and rapid construction method, it reduces the implementation time on site. Completed by a 5 cm concrete compression slab poured on site, it allows the BB floor to be created.
Displaying environmental (-50% carbon vs a traditional solution), acoustic and fire performance in line with current requirements, the BB Slab meets all of the expectations of developers.
Low-carbon concrete photovoltaic shade structures
As part of the measures aimed at accelerating the development of renewable energy production facilities, Article 40 of the ApER law makes it mandatory to install photovoltaic panels on canopies in outdoor car parks larger than 1.500 m², covering at least 50% of the surface area of the car parks.
CAPREMIB, in collaboration with the company MECOSUN, will ensure the prefabrication of custom-made low-carbon concrete canopies, which will enable it to position itself in the renewable energy sector.
Thanks to this self-ballasted solution provided by the inertia of the concrete, MECOPARK canopies avoid foundations and heavy work on existing surfaces.
Composed of a U-shaped concrete base as well as different versions of support beams, depending on the parking configurations, and photovoltaic panels, this turnkey system will extend across the entire territory to meet regulatory requirements.
Built with quality materials and respecting expansion constraints, photovoltaic canopies are efficient and durable.
Made of low-carbon concrete, they have one of the lowest carbon footprints on the market (-20T CO2 equivalent). The photovoltaic canopies are available in two models (DUO and SOLO) for face-to-face or side-by-side parking, allowing complete coverage of all parking spaces. They can be installed in just a few days, with limited impact on parking activity.
Dimensions:
- Entrance height: up to 3 meters
- Width: up to 11 meters
- Distance between two feet: up to 10 meters
With these two innovations, CAPREMIB intends to position itself among the leading group of key players in the decarbonization of the precast concrete industry.
