Calixta enriches its thermal sizing and costing offering with its new “express simulation” formula

At the beginning of 2023, the Wendel company launched Calixta, an all-in-one web solution for thermal sizing and costing for heating installers, air conditioning engineers and energy auditors. Six months later, a new simulation formula, simpler and faster, is deployed to support professionals in quickly carrying out their costing without having to carry out a complete study.

Without a plan to create, the new Access express simulation formula allows HVAC professionals to quickly respond to a site request by easily establishing a cost estimate, without having to carry out a complete thermal study. The latter can then be carried out once the contract has been signed by switching to a Premium or Business subscription.

Intuitive, the interface is very simple to use. After having provided the information concerning the home (geographical data, year of construction, joint ownership and shape of the house, number of floors, surface area, existing heating and domestic hot water system, type of emitters, etc.) and the desired comfort temperature, the calculation of the current heat losses is displayed.

The second step consists of choosing the type of heating system to install (PAC, hybrid boiler or biomass). Calixta then makes a summary of the existing system and suggestions for transmitters of the same type and different brands corresponding to the needs of the project before costing the most suitable complete system (transmitter, accessories, chimneys, plumbing, etc.).

Not admissible in the event of an RGE inspection, the new Access formula from Calixta includes the following functions:

calculation of heat losses,
Estimated DPE of the existing,
Encryption of the generator, transmitters and accessories without scenario variants,
Calculation of aid,
Up to 100 simulations per year,
Ability to manage your brands

To create quotes and invoices, the user must also subscribe to the “activity management” option.

With this new Access formula, Calixta helps all small HVAC companies who do not have the time to carry out a precise and complete thermal study at the time of calls for tender but who, nevertheless, wish to offer their customers the best solution thermal adapted to their project.
