Bouygues Construction selected to build St John's CE Academy in Oxfordshire, UK

The future St John's CE Academy will be located close to the existing primary school in the village of Grove. It will be the first school in the area to cater for nursery to secondary school levels and will have 600 pupils.

Designed by Stride Treglown, the two-storey building will be constructed using sustainable materials, including a cross-laminated timber frame, and will feature a green roof with solar panels. External facilities, such as playing fields and recreational areas, will have sustainable drainage systems for optimal rainwater management. In addition, the school will be clad in brick and timber panels, with aluminium exterior joinery, combining aesthetics and functionality.
