An installation to be renewed
Frequented by around 300 people each week, this sports equipment in Morbihan has 4 changing rooms and 28 water points in the toilets. The hot water flow requirement is 50 liters / minute and the sanitary installation requires hot water with a constant temperature of 38 ° C.
Mr. Lamour, responsible for the technical services of the city of Hennebont, recalls the decision of the municipality to renew the existing installation: "We decided to replace our equipment for reasons of health security (anti-legionella), d energy savings and the assurance of always having hot water. "
The solution: 2 Therm 8000 S bath heaters
Two gas condensing bath heaters were installed in cascade in place of the existing DHW gas storage tank. Their unit power is 50 kW and they together produce up to 54 l / min for domestic hot water at 38 ° C (delta T 25K).
Commissioned for over 2 years, this installation has already proven itself: simple operation and limited maintenance for the operator, sanitary comfort guaranteed for users, and already a reduction in gas consumption estimated at 70% for an optimized economic investment (5000 euros).
To meet the intensive needs of domestic hot water, the Therm 8000 S bath heater offers the possibility of combining up to 12 cascaded devices to thus go from a flow rate of 27 l / min to 324 l / min, while keeping a perfectly stable temperature of 45 ° C. Synonymous with energy savings, Thermo 8000 S provides a high efficiency up to 104% on PCI, with a modular power from 6 to 50 kW to perfectly adapt the technology to the precise need for domestic hot water.
