Increased insulating performance

Designed to reinforce the insulation of new buildings or buildings under renovation (tertiary, industrial, commercial, etc.) requiring increased improvement in their thermal insulation, the new Bluevoûte RPT (Thermal Bridge Break) skylight has been designed with a Double-walled curb with an insulating core of 90 mm.

In order to offer a skylight that is easy to install and perfectly waterproof, BLUETEK has equipped Bluevoûte RPT with an extruded PVC profile and a special seal between the curb and its PCA (cellular polycarbonate) roof. The latter incorporates thermal break bars at its ends to limit heat loss from the vault. As this is generally made up of several PCA panels for continuous skylight models, an additional “special pressure” gasket has also been added between each panel to provide a finished product that is perfectly airtight offering a URC (value determining performance. values ​​of a complete roof skylight) of up to 1.35 W / m2.k for a 3 x 10 m Bluevoûte model with a 32 mm thick PCA.

An optional smoke extraction and ventilation system

In order to provide more comfort and safety, Bluevoûte RPT can be equipped with an optional smoke extraction and ventilation system with the integration of one or more Exuplus RPT modules, opening with thermal break. This smoke extraction module integrated into the Bluevoûte RPT has two types of cylinder opening: pneumatic or electric (24V).

Whatever mechanism is used, the Exuplus RPT module (also designed with reinforced thermal insulation) allows full or partial opening, depending on the configuration chosen (eg 300 mm or 500 mm opening stroke).
