Bjelin unveils its CONTRAST collection

Carefully crafted, the Contrast collection honors the distinct characteristics of the famous Slavic oak. This new densified wood range was created thanks to the fusion of technology and timeless artisanal know-how; it is suitable for both residential spaces and high-traffic commercial environments.

By leveraging access to a cutting-edge R&D service through Välinge Innovation, Bjelin has developed an innovative approach to enhance the natural structure of wood. Thanks to the revolutionary Woodura technology with which the densified wood floors are equipped, it has been possible to use a sophisticated set of nine brushes precisely designed to harmoniously integrate pigmented contrasts into the surface of the floors, thus highlighting the natural oak grain.

Woodura makes densified wood coverings three times more resistant than traditional or engineered parquet floors, with increased resistance to water and punctures. Combined with the 5G Dry waterproof locking system, these floors guarantee excellent durability. They also benefit from a professional matte class 33 varnish, the most resistant at Bjelin to date.

These robust floors, made with FSC-certified European wood from Croatia, are available in an XL format and in Nature choice. Thanks to their elegance and technicality, they redefine the rules of the game in terms of residential and commercial development, giving pride of place to innovation.
