Revelation and demonstration on the ELCIA stand!
A 100% eco-designed stand for a 0 waste show!
Innovate in its products but also innovate to contribute to a more sustainable and responsible world! Dear to its President and Founder Franck COUTURIEUX, the protection of the environment is at the heart of ELCIA's raison d'être and the daily lives of its employees. For 2022, ELCIA wants to move up a gear with a promise: to get as close as possible to zero waste! Action from BATIMAT with a 100% eco-designed stand!
For Franck COUTURIEUX, President and Founder of ELCIA: “If we follow our ecological approach around zero waste, we should no longer exhibit at trade shows, which are major producers of waste and non-reusable materials. But we preferred to find solutions in line with our raison d'être. We have made strong and striking choices: do you realize, a stand without a floor or carpet on the ground! We hope that this will be emulated for the next editions because we are not the only ones to have these values. »
For Guillaume LOIZEAUD, Director of Le Mondial du Bâtiment and BATIMAT: “The approach of the ELCIA teams is remarkable, it consists of re-examining the usual practices of trade shows and making the brand's actions consistent with the major challenges of the climate and the environment; it is a concrete example, of a historical partner of BATIMAT, which is in total coherence with the 2022 edition of the building world. We have initiated a substantive action on all of the 150.000m2 of exhibition space which aims to reduce all impacts as much as possible: less carbon-intensive transport, recycling of waste, local catering, eco-designed stands, circularity wherever possible. , the BATIMAT show is taking its part in the great challenge of the century. »
The ELCIA stand for BATIMAT is a stand...
... without a technical floor! Finished carpet, floor and other plastic coating, the stand will be placed directly on the concrete floor of the hall. More than 100m2 of wood and carpet are thus saved.
... without waste! Neither glass nor plastic bottle! Also finished the goodies and reduction to the maximum of the printed communication supports to privilege the digital supports.
... with recyclable materials! From plywood to concrete, via Haru adhesive (mainly made of paper): the materials for the stand have been selected according to their eco-responsibility. With two flagship materials: DropPaper (composed of cellulose, polyester and fiberglass, lightweight and therefore not very greedy in terms of transport) and DropCake (rigid panel that can be recycled ad infinitum, made up of 60% DropPaper waste and 40% polyethylene waste). Non-recyclable materials will have the right to a second life (put concrete examples) and will be given to shops which will resell them at solidarity prices.
... which takes up quite an ecological challenge! An eco-designed stand: it was quite a challenge for GALIS, the event stand agency.
For Anthony HEINTZ, Business Manager at GALIS: “It's the first time that a customer has been crazy enough to ask us for a stand without a floor or carpet! This represents a major challenge and requires a specific design that invites visitors to look up. We are proud of this creation of a unique concept, but also of being able to engage in projects with customers who, like us, have a strong lasting desire. Thinking together to transform the event sector and create the responsible stand of tomorrow, that's what we are working for! It's a great challenge launched by ELCIA, the result is there and we hope it will make an impression. »

A new 3D configurator for Pergola
AlloTools presents on BATIMAT its brand new 3D configurator for bioclimatic Pergola in BtoB and BtoC version. Its two key features:
- The simulation of shadows (essential to check the relevance of certain options), made according to the geolocation/orientation of the pergola, the dynamic openings/closing of the slats, blinds or screens and especially the period of sunshine according to the month of the year and time of day.
- Augmented reality, which allows you to project your tailor-made pergola into your own environment via the screen of your smartphone or tablet. The project imagined by the customer and configured is thus simulated with a guaranteed “wow” effect.
A new photo simulation module
For the first time since the merger between ELCIA and AlloTools, the editor of BatiTrade has developed an independent and external module dedicated to photo simulation of carpentry, closing and solar protection products. This module, called "VirtualPhoto", is able to put products quoted via the ELCIA or BatiTrade configurators, all on a photo of the customer's environment, in a multi-product logic, for a complete and harmonized project.
