On October 13 and 14, nearly 200 construction sites and workshops will be exceptionally open throughout France.
On the occasion of the 20th edition of Behind the scenes of the building, friendly and free event organized by the French Building Federation (FFB), young people will be able to discover the hidden face of a construction site or a workshop and all the secrets of construction or renovation of a building. Individual houses, office buildings, historical monuments, etc. will open their fences to reveal their backstage at different stages of progress of the work!
The objective of this operation is to discover the world of construction in an original and interactive way. It also means allowing visitors, mainly young people, to witness the achievements of tomorrow and form their own opinion on the sector. What, give them a first glimpse of the building trades, a sector with many facets.
Behind the Scenes of the Building is:
- Approximately 75.000 visitors each year;
- Nearly 1.640.000 visitors to 4.700 sites since 2003;
- Visits led by the professionals themselves and secured with compulsory helmets;
- Sites generally open from 09 am to 00 pm;
