Becity delivers Metronom to AG Real Estate France in Lille (59), a mixed office and retail building 50% pre-let

Located in the heart of Lille Metronom is a set of offices with a surface area of 8.100 m2, with a commercialization of approximately 50%, including all of the retail at the foot of the building.

A lease for a firm period of 6 years has already been signed with Bayer Healthcare – the Healthcare division of the Bayer group in France – for a surface area of 2.565 m². The Pharmaceuticals Division of Bayer France is now moving into its new premises. The first employees will arrive in May after the tenant development work.

Two other leases were signed: one for a little less than 1.000 m² of offices on R+5 and R+6 for the benefit of an IT consulting company, the other at the foot of the building for the commercial cell overlooking the Jean-Baptiste Lebas Park. This is a restaurant resulting from the association between Jean-Christophe Cambier, manager of the Cambier brasserie in Croix, and Paul Cambier, manager of the Bar bakery in Lille. This unique place, which will open at the beginning of April, will offer Metronom users and, more broadly, the entire neighborhood and city, a place to eat and drink “local” in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Metronom is a building located in the Saint-Sauveur district where the urban environment is dynamic and evolving, meeting the requirements of businesses wishing to combine accessibility, local services and neighborhood life.

Designed by the architecture agency POST ARCHITECTES, carried out by the developer BECITY, the project focuses on the restructuring of an existing 10-storey tower sitting on a new construction in the heart of the block, and integrating vegetated spaces. It fits perfectly into the transformation and requalification of this sustainable, socially mixed and attractive neighborhood.

Metronom benefits from numerous outdoor spaces and terraces with a total surface area of 420 m² as well as a 125 m² rooftop offering an exceptional view of Lille center.

With 300 m² of bicycle rooms, soft mobility is also strongly encouraged.

The building was designed according to current environmental standards, and contributes in a concrete way to environmental issues with the BREEAM Very Good certification, and societal ones with the Well and Wired Score Silver certifications.

The company Enexia is responsible for the hospitality management of the building via the animation of the common areas (desk café, collaborative hall, concierge, outdoor spaces, gallery of artistic works, etc.) and the company iSquare ensures the technical management of Metronom .
