At the heart of Pavilion 1, the Low Carbon Construction and Photovoltaic spaces will allow visitors to discover all the latest innovations in these rapidly growing markets. Specific conferences and workshops will complement the exhibition spaces.
As a showcase for innovation and the challenges of the sector, BATIMAT intends to promote all the solutions and products proposed by the players in the sector around the themes of decarbonization of structures and photovoltaics. The objective is to respond to the real concerns expressed by craftsmen and specifiers, visitors to the show, looking for precise information on the issues related to these two promising sectors.
A low-carbon universe at the center of BATIMAT
The building and construction sector represents 145Mt of CO2 emissions per year, it is the leading emitter of CO2 tied with transport and thus represents a key sector in the success of the country's decarbonization. Well aware of this challenge, BATIMAT has created the Low Carbon Construction Space. Located in Pavilion 1, its direct proximity to the RENODAYS by BATIMAT Space facilitates the bridges between the decarbonization of buildings and the energy and overall renovation of housing.
This space highlights solutions and materials for the decarbonization of buildings. In line with the theme and commitments of the Mondial du Bâtiment, the space is designed around a zero waste policy, with a choice of wood of French origin and transformed on the territory, eco-designed furniture, 100% recycled carpets on exhibitors' stands and LED lighting.
Several exhibitors are already registered on this space:
- Construction21 will bring together a panel of stakeholders from its community (Architecture Pelegrin, CCB-Greentech, Demrea, Ecocem, Graitec, Nat'H, Nooco, Territoires Zéro Exclusion Énergétique, Share is More, Solaronics, Swoop Energy, Technocarbon, Urban Canopée) who will present their solutions, achievements and initiatives in favor of decarbonization. These 13 co-exhibitors will pitch their projects on stand H1-K106-K110 on Thursday, October 03 at 11:30 a.m.
- Cyneo, a facilitator of the circular economy whose objective is to support the massification of reused and recycled materials in construction, will be present on stand H1-K107-K109, with its 18 members (Articonnex, Attec Production, Comec, Composil Reuse, Comus, Gamma Industries, Mobius, Neolitik, Proclus, Reempro, Reniew, Sofradi, Tarkett, Textifloor, Tri'N'Collect, Tricycle, Unikalo, Wicona). Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a real demonstrator highlighting the extent of the circular materials offer proposed by the Cyneo Community.
- Also available in this space: Armacell, Brique de Guyane, Cycle Up, EcoPeg, Fiboo, Leadax, Ekopolis, Artlux La Lumière Solaire, Isobloc and PRB.
Speeches are also planned in the two large conference spaces located in Hall 1 and Hall 5.2:
- Tuesday, October 1st – 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Agora 1 – Hall 1): Batitalks: The right tools for low-carbon construction and renovation. Hosted by Sébastien BORGNAT with Joanna FERRIERE, director of CYNEO and Florent MARTIN, head of the “DATA/IA innovation” office at Ecolab.
- Wednesday 02 October – 14:00 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. (Agora 5.2 – Hall 5.2): Low Carbon Renovation: VEKA REcycle joinery, VEKASLIDE Hi-5 sliding - Combine sustainability, performance & design. This workshop will demonstrate how to integrate a low carbon approach into the renovation of joinery and opt for solutions combining energy performance, comfort and aesthetics.
Photovoltaics, highlighted on BATIMAT
The development of photovoltaics in France has been booming since 2009. The market is growing by 33% between 2022 and 2023 and is expected to increase by 11% by the end of 2024.[1] To highlight this key theme, the Photovoltaic space, built around a French and international offering, will present all the solutions in the sector. It currently has around ten exhibitors, including Apem Energie, Chuzhou Kunvo Century Green Energy Technology, Creawatt Engineering, Creawatt Fabrick, Eternal Energy Technology, GoodWe Technologies, Novotegra, POwR Connect, Valenergies, Voltalia Distribution, as well as the Enerplan and GMPV-FFB trade unions and associations.
Several conferences and workshops are also planned, such as:
- Thursday, October 03 – 14:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m. (Agora 1 – Hall 1): COLLOQUIUM – Photovoltaics are easy to install and profitable. Hosted by Pascal POGGI with Damien MOULIN, Technical Director at Ensol and Raphaël MENARD, Chairman of the Board of Arep, a subsidiary of SNCF.
- Tuesday 1st October – 14:00 p.m. to 14:45 p.m. (Main Arena – Hall 1): Experts'Corner – You want to move towards photovoltaics. Who should you contact? With the intervention of GMPV and the FFB.
