Bat info : can you tell us about PlanRadar?
Mathieu Walckenaer: PlanRadar was created in Austria in 2013 following a simple observation: the lack of tools to communicate and share information on construction sites. From this observation was born the PlanRadar digital application allowing construction teams to share, modify, and visualize all the data of a construction site in real time.
At the end of 2014, we reached the milestone of 100 customers, thus proving the effectiveness of our application.
In 2015, PlanRadar sold its first license on the Asian continent.
Two years later, the company has won 9 trophies in 1 year for its application, demonstrating its enormous potential.
In 2020, PlanRadar raised 30 million euros to set out to conquer Europe, then in 2022, 69 million euros to establish a long-term presence in the Asian markets and on the American continent.
Today, PlanRadar is: 10 offices in Europe, employees speaking 18 different languages and more than 15.000 customers in 60 countries.
Batinfo: what are the specificities of your application?
Mathieu Walckenaer: PlanRadar is a digital solution available on browser, iOS, Android and Windows, for task management, communication and reports. Concretely, the application makes it possible to directly enter the tasks to be carried out from mobile devices and to add photos, text or a voice memo. PlanRadar is accessible everywhere for both teams in the field and those working from the office.
The application facilitates the assignment of tasks to the person concerned. This will automatically receive a notification. Via the platform, teams can also send reports to managers and project owners, which allows them to be up to date on the progress of the project.
Generating statistics and useful documents for your business is very easy. In the case of legal disputes requiring specific documents, PlanRadar can also be useful thanks to structured and automated reports to facilitate the transmission of evidence for litigation procedures.
Thanks to user-praised customization and configuration, PlanRadar has found its audience. Moreover, PlanRadar is an all-in-one tool, which does not require any other platform. You can follow all the stages of a project, from design, to the demolition phase, including construction and maintenance. Being able to use a single tool for all these tasks facilitates communication between teams and saves time and productivity.
In addition to these functionalities, you can consult your plans in digital version, deadlines and contacts via the PlanRadar application, even while being offline, so that each member of the team understands his missions and participates in the smooth running of the project. project.
Finally, the team behind PlanRadar is constantly close to the field to take into account the opinions of its users. With a view to continuous improvement of the platform and taking into account feedback, we have launched: PlanRadar Connect. It is an API connecting PlanRadar to tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Google Drive, Adobe Analytics… intuitively and with no code required. With this API, all data and documents are centralized in a single tool. Guaranteed time savings!
Batinfo: How do you see the future of PlanRadar?
Mathieu Walckenaer: Thanks to the 69 million euros that we have just raised, we are going to strengthen our presence in the countries that we cover and we are going to establish ourselves on all continents.
We are also concentrating our efforts on our R&D investments in order to accelerate the addition of functionalities such as access to BIM directly on construction sites.
Always with this in mind to take into account customer feedback and facilitate their daily lives, we are working on three strategic aspects which are document, planning and project management.
We will also continue the development of PlanRadar Connect, which has just been launched. This will simplify interoperability and automatic software integration with PlanRadar, without the need for coding.
