Nuancea, a facade panel designed to meet the highest requirements in terms of design and energy efficiency, is much more than a simple EDR (filling element), composed of a double exterior facing, an interior facing and with between the two, an insulating core and/or a backing.
Its glass facing glued back from its lacquered aluminum sheet creates a unique effect of depth and striking relief which transforms the structures of all types of buildings.
Nuancéa, under Technical Approval since last July, redefines the codes of exterior cladding and is an essential part of the modernization of the urban landscape, offering construction professionals (carpenters, facade workers), architects and communities, unlimited possibilities to lastingly shape the silhouettes of our cities.
Validated and Approved: Nuancea under Technical Approval
Already appreciated by prescribers thanks to an ATEx (Technical Experimental Assessment) tested in real use, proof of its reliability, Nuancéa is now supported by a Technical Approval delivered by the CCFAT (n°2.1/23-1834_V1) published on 11/ 07/2023. This recognition confirms the quality of the product and its ability to meet the standards required by the construction and renovation industry.
Nuancéa, a facade solution, meets regulations in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation, waterproofing and fire protection (compliant with the requirements relating to the type of structure IT 249).
Bandai Namco | Lyon (69), EMAILLERIE ALSACIENNE supplied 115 m² of Nuancéa 68mm shadow box effect panels in RAL 7022 30% satin color which, through their depth, contribute to giving relief to the glass hall, thus recalling the pixels symbolized by the aluminum cassettes.

The Shadow Box effect, 1000 flashes and shades, for dynamic architecture
Nuancéa is a filling element that revolutionizes the approach to lightweight facades by combining a lacquered aluminum cladding with a clear, reflective or even screen-printed glass cladding. The aluminum facing is folded and glued back from the glass facing by a few centimeters. This unique shadow box design creates an effect of depth, injecting relief and vitality through a subtle play of shadows and lights throughout the facade.
Targeting the renovation and new construction market for collective housing and tertiary and public buildings, Nuancéa is defined by its customizable finishes. It allows construction professionals to play with a wide range of lacquered aluminum shades, offering numerous possibilities to give character to each facade. Whether by daring to use anodized and bright, contrasting colors or by favoring a shade that harmonizes with the vision part for the impression of a fully glazed facade, Nuancéa gives architects the creative freedom necessary to design elegant and sophisticated facades .
Nuancéa is available in all colors on aluminum (RAL color chart).

A tailor-made and insulating panel for diverse applications
Each panel is personalized according to a CCTP (Special Technical Clauses) to meet specific requirements in terms of aesthetics, thermal and acoustic insulation.
Safe, Nuancéa has a guardrail function to protect the occupants of a building against the risk of falling.
In addition, depending on the composition, the solution meets the regulatory requirements for fire resistance (flame protection up to 1 hour) and complies with the rules of IT249.
Ready to install, with a rebate from 32 mm, the tailor-made dimensions of Nuancéa (from 200 x 300 mm up to 1800 x 3500 mm), its thickness (from 56 mm to 150 mm) allow harmonious and efficient integration according to the specific needs of each work.
The implementation of Nuancéa is simple and is done using a 4-sided closed system.
The panels are optimized for thermal and acoustic insulation according to the requested Up and RA,tr coefficients.
Nuancéa is integrated into lightweight facades, curtain walls, frames and joinery, on all types of buildings: tertiary, housing, education, hospitality, leisure, health, ERP, etc.
Wings of Europe | Colomiers (31). For this project, EMAILLERIE ALSACIENNE completed 240 m2 of Nuancéa panels with RAL 7048 finished sheet metal. Project manager: Francis Cardete / Gérard Huet. Client: Lazard Group – SAGI.
Sustainable innovation
Each panel is personalized according to a CCTP (Cahier des Clauses Techniques Particulières) to meet the requirements. The Nuancéa facade panel is not only aesthetically attractive, but it also offers exceptional strength and durability. Made with premium materials, this sign is designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions and maintain its impeccable appearance over time.
Nuancéa is equipped with a pressure balancing system which ensures that the internal temperature of the panel is regulated, thus ensuring effective insulation. Vents at the bottom of the panels are thus machined and equipped with filter grids which prevent pollution, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance of the panels.
These characteristics meet the requirements of carpenters, facade workers, architects and communities involved in sustainable and responsible construction.
