Building crafts apprentices mobilized for the environmental transition

The figures reveal that 75,3% of craft construction companies believe that the generations of apprentices trained today will bring the innovations that the sector needs. As for apprentices trained by a craft company, 75,4% consider that it is up to their generation to promote environmental protection in the sector.

Apprenticeship: a path to excellence in construction

90,1% of apprentices trained in craft construction companies say that the apprenticeship met their expectations. In fact, apprenticeship provides access to a qualified and recognized profession which offers the possibility of entering working life with an attractive salary. The barometer also demonstrates a significant improvement in the links between apprentices, their CFA and the company. 54,6% of apprenticeship supervisors provide a progress update with the apprentice on their work in the company each time they return from the CFA. These exchanges make it possible to optimize the learning conditions of apprentices.

These results demonstrate the crucial importance of apprenticeship in the construction sector, not only as a path to sustainable employment, but also as a development lever for craft businesses.
