In February 2021, Apave announced its new strategic plan and its ambition to enter the Top 5 world sector leaders by 2025 in Industrial Goods / Manufacturing, Energy, Transport and Infrastructure & Construction.
In line with its strategic plan, the Group continued to grow in 2021, a year during which many milestones were reached.
Accelerate growth in France and abroad, in particular through external growth
With seven acquisitions in 2021, Apave has confirmed its external growth dynamic in targeted geographies and businesses. These operations enabled it to broaden its portfolio of offers, with the acquisition of Rhexis and Camas in training, and its geographic locations, with TecnoPiemonte in Italy.
Apave has also acquired new skills in the field of digital risks with the acquisition of the companies Oppida and LSTI in cybersecurity, AxesSim in digital twins and SixFoisSept in smart-data and artificial intelligence.
In addition to technical, human and environmental risks, Apave aims to position itself as a key player in the management of digital risks and digital trust.
Welcome a growth partner to support the Group's ambitions
In July 2021, the Group opened its capital to PAI Partners to support its external growth momentum and its objective of achieving sales of nearly 1,5 billion and entering the Top 5 world leaders in the sector of 2025.
A true growth partner for Apave, PAI Partners supports its ambitions, assists it in identifying external growth opportunities and provides it with its expertise in many areas such as information systems, digital or CSR.
Continue the transformation of Apave towards a more integrated Group
In December 2021, Apave announced the success of its first employee shareholding offer, in the form of a Company Mutual Investment Fund (FCPE), with more than 70% of its employees in France having subscribed to the offer.
The creation of this system thus makes it possible to associate employees more strongly with the development and performance of the Group in the long term, and is thus part of the transformation of Apave towards a more integrated Group.
Apave is also accelerating in terms of recruitment, with more than 1 new talents integrated in 400, in line with its development objectives, in addition to the 2021 employees who joined the Group as part of external growth operations. A dynamic that will continue with 250 recruitments planned for 1500.
Sustainably improve the Group's commercial, operational and financial performance
The year 2021 was also marked by a clear rebound in the Group's activities and performance in France and abroad, supported by good commercial momentum. Apave has accelerated the optimization of its processes, while maintaining a high level of expertise and skills. New offers combining human expertise and new technologies have already won over several customers, like Ap'Structure, which is being deployed in Europe and very soon in Africa.
For Philippe Maillard, CEO of the Apave group: “2021 was an important year for Apave. Beyond the health crisis that we have been able to manage positively, the face of our group has changed substantially and new dynamics have been put in place. I am confident in the future of our group and in our ability to be able to support our customers even more actively in accelerating their energy transition, crisis management, corporate social responsibility or digital risk challenges. There will be no progress without security. »
