Angélique Longeray thus joined the Bureau of IGNES during her second term as a director.
For Angelique Longeray: “I am very honored to join the IGNES Board as Vice-President. IGNES has established itself as a major and recognized player in energy and digital transformation. The connected building, energy sobriety, home maintenance, the reduction of carbon emissions and the safety of goods and people will all be exciting challenges to be met with all the members of the alliance. »

To cope with the rise in energy prices and the risk of tension on the electricity system, the members of IGNES recently committed to supporting the deployment of a connected control system in the homes of all French people living in 2030 to reduce their bill without disrupting their daily lives.
Highlighted this winter with the increase in electricity and gas prices, energy sobriety must also apply in summer due to the general increase in temperatures and the expected explosion of heat waves.
Alongside the other industrial members of IGNES, Somfy is more convinced than ever that adapting housing to climate change is the project of the century: 80% of the buildings that will exist in 2050 have already been built. Summer comfort, taken into account in new buildings, is however not considered in public renovation policy. This asymmetry risks reinforcing a “thermal comfort divide” between new and efficient housing in summer and winter, and old housing that is not adapted to heat waves.
For Somfy, the motorization and automation of solar protection and openings are simple and common-sense solutions: they make it possible to achieve between -10 and -30%* energy savings on heating consumption in winter and reduce the indoor temperature by -4 to -7°C** in summer. Coupled with other piloted solutions, they can contribute to increasing the energy sobriety of buildings and improve the comfort and thermal health of residents in all seasons.
Angélique Longeray did not fail to underline her enthusiasm at the idea of meeting these numerous challenges, alongside the other industrial members of IGNES.
The IGNES Board is made up of:
- Benoît Coquart, Managing Director, Legrand – Chairman of IGNES
- Bruno Capdordy, VP Home & Distribution France, Schneider Electric – Vice-President of IGNES
- Daphna Goldstein, Managing Director France, Hager – Vice-President of IGNES
- Pascal Portelli, President, Delta Dore – Vice-President of IGNES
- Angélique Longeray, Managing Director of Somfy France – Vice-President of IGNES
