With “TTMC – How much do you spend” [BTP edition], NGE targets high school students, students, teachers, parents... thanks to the extension of a board game with a series of new dedicated playing cards discovering building and public works.
The mechanism of this game based on fun quizzes leads players to bet from 1 to 10 on their knowledge linked to general culture themes and therefore now to specific subjects in construction. The formula based on humor appeals to young people and is the success of the creators of “TTMC”, for whom the BTP variant is the 10th extension of the base game, after in particular a Belgian extension and a more recent extension on Paris 2024.
500 copies available for launch
The launch of the BTP edition of “TTMC” is based on a system to promote the game during school recruitment forums and the sending of copies to more than 200 schools and
high schools by the end of the year. And to reach future talents directly on their smartphone, NGE and the game publisher announce the upcoming launch of a digital version.
Furthermore, NGE offers a copy to all students, high school students, and college students who request one (more than 500 available on www.nge.fr ). Depending on the orders, the Group will decide, in consultation with the “TTMC” team, whether or not to market “TTMC” [BTP Edition].
An extension of the game co-constructed with employees of the NGE group
The “TTMC” team immediately agreed to work with NGE to create a BTP version. Hand-in-hand work which involved employees, apprentices and interns (all trades combined) to develop questions divided into 4 themes (Entertainment / Improbable / Sectors of activity / Machinery and equipment) . The result of this co-construction, the BTP extension includes 90 new cards with 567 specific questions.

NGE renews the image of the building and public works professions
To communicate with young people and encourage vocations, NGE has always favored difference by choosing channels that are rarely (or not at all) used by the profession.
Brief timeline: 2021 -> 2024
- 2021 / NGE is organizing its first “JOB TOUR” with a pick-up and an Airstream to meet young people and talk to them about construction jobs.
- 2022 / The group publishes with Flammarion a graphic novel directly inspired by the history of a construction site: the renovation of the railway line between Estaque in Marseille and Carry le Rouet. Graphic novel still available in bookstores: “A Day in the Night”
- Editions Autre - illustrations Virgile Dureuil.
- 2023-2024 / NGE is rolling out a new original campaign with its “TTMC” game, to raise awareness among future construction talents. The operation will be followed throughout the school year through actions and workshops with establishments that wish to introduce their students to the sector.
