Faced with significant recruitment needs, in recent years, surveyors have multiplied operations at both national and local level, aiming to better promote the profession in order to make it known to a wider public: brand-employer campaign, Business Game, career forum, open days, etc. In 2021, the sector will have 10 jobs - including 000 land surveyors.
The latest Pôle emploi “Workforce Needs” survey notes, however, that 1 positions are to be filled in expert surveyor firms with, it should be noted, certain territorial disparities: the Auvergne-Rhône region. Alpes should, for example, witness the launch of 300 recruitment projects this year against 200 for Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Another indicator making it possible to assess this "employment crisis", the survey figures indicate that more than 20% of these recruitments are considered difficult by the sector ... a higher estimate than for jobs in the health and social sector. , yet known to be particularly in tension.
A tension confirmed by the Order of expert surveyors
“However, the profession of surveyor-expert offers certain flexibilities that the health crisis has significantly highlighted, such as the possibility of choosing one's working environment (urban, rural, coastal), of favoring activities in the office or rather on the field and to have complete freedom in its organization and working hours as a business manager ”, underlines Séverine Vernet, First Vice-President of the Board of Governors in charge of training.
The profession also fully embraces the challenges of sustainable development and places great emphasis on digital technology and digital innovations (GNSS, BIM, Drones, 3D Scan, etc.); subjects dear to the new generations who are now entering the job market.
“The '' surveyor-surveyor 2030 '' plan, which the Order of surveyors (OGE) launched in January 2020, should precisely help to support the transformation of the profession of surveyor-surveyor, and increase flows new entrants, in particular through a complete overhaul of training courses and access to the profession ” resumes Séverine Vernet, “But this is a medium-term project. However, the needs are significant now, since it is estimated that 3 positions will need to be filled by 000 ”.
The 1 expert surveyor firms offer a variety of professions and missions, recruiting at all levels of qualification: from professional bac to bac + 120, operator in charge of drone data acquisition and processing, GIS technician, town planner, lawyers or landscape designer ...

Don't wait any longer, join us! ".
