Alexandre Bistes succeeds Thierry Gouix as Strategic Unit Director Wicona France

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Pau and with a Masters in marketing and communication, Alexandre Bistes began his career in 1999, in the midst of the Internet bubble, as a project manager at the advertising agency DDB Paris. Passionate about technology, he turned to sales and joined the Acapela group in 2002, a company specializing in voice technologies in Europe and the United States. In 2008, he joined the Hydro group as Licensee Manager. Its role: to manage relations with companies authorized to represent the group's various brands internationally.

In nearly fifteen years, Alexandre Bistes has held numerous management, sales, marketing and development positions within the group, in France and internationally. He notably worked in China for WICONA and therefore knows the products and their technical capabilities perfectly.

The transition went smoothly for teams and customers. Thierry Gouix and Alexandre Bistes worked together for several months on strategic and commercial issues.

Organizational development and appointment of a WICONA France sales manager

The appointment of Alexandre Bistes is accompanied by organizational changes and recruitment for greater proximity with customers and partners.

Thus, Vincent Bes, previously regional sales director West, is appointed commercial director WICONA France on January 1, 2023. The two regional sales departments are maintained. The Eastern region remains headed by Pascal Forest. Recruitment is underway to replace Vincent Bes.
