Installing an air conditioner is a more efficient and sustainable solution, allowing you to precisely regulate the indoor temperature and dehumidify the air for optimal comfort. The ideal is to opt for a reversible air conditioner which also provides heating in winter, thus eliminating the use of electric heaters, which consume a lot of energy.
27% of French people believe that air conditioners are the most economical system
For 27% of French people, air conditioners are the most economical means of cooling. This rate is higher among owners, amounting to 32%. This difference is explained by the fact that owners have a direct interest in investing in efficient and sustainable air conditioning solutions for their homes. Indeed, a quality installation allows you to make savings in the long term, both on electricity bills and on maintenance.
54% of French people would be ready to invest up to €2.000 for the purchase of an air conditioning system
In terms of the amount envisaged, 36% of French people would be ready to invest less than 1000 euros for an air conditioner, and 19% between 1001 and 2000 euros, or 54% who are within these budgets. With inflation, the French are paying attention to their budget to make useful purchases.
Cost is one of the main criteria for 58% of French people
58% of French people consider that cost is the main purchasing criterion for an air conditioner, offering a complete range of affordable and efficient solutions. This rate for the cost criterion is even higher among 45-54 year olds, reaching 65%.
The second most important purchasing criterion for the French when looking for an air conditioner is energy efficiency. In fact, 42% consider that performance in terms of energy savings is a determining factor in their purchasing decision.
To conclude, French people who wish to invest are looking for an economical solution at low cost to equip themselves against the intense summer heat.
