Agreement between Bouygues and associations for a real estate project on Ile Seguin in Boulogne-Billancourt

This 100.000 m2 project, entitled Vivaldi, provides for the construction of offices, shops and a large park on the central part of the island, the former headquarters of a Renault car manufacturing plant.

"We are very happy that Vivaldi can see the light of day thanks to this agreement which we have just signed", declared the president of Bouygues Immobilier, Bernard Mounier, in a press release.

"This new project is proof that consultation and listening are now at the heart of real estate in order to propose operations that meet the needs of users, residents and communities", he added.

Several local associations, including Environnement 92, the Committee for the Protection of the Meudon Sites and La Seine n'est pas à vente, filed a legal action against Vivaldi last summer.

In February, they announced that they had reached a compromise with Bouygues Immobilier and the local public company Val-de-Seine Aménagement, the promoter and the developer undertaking in particular to reduce the height of the office buildings and to implement a revegetation plan for the island.

Solicited by AFP, the associations and their lawyers did not react immediately to the announcement of the signing of the agreement.

Construction work on the Vivaldi project is due to start in early 2024.
