Acieo is organizing the transfer of its presidency and reaffirming its independent model

From the outset, this reflection incorporates a dual ambition: to open up more capital to employees and to organize the succession of governance over the long term, within a controlled and collective framework.

ACIEO's development dynamics and the group's increasing value reinforce the need to anticipate this evolution, in order to preserve a predominantly internal shareholding model and guarantee the continuity of the group's independence.

The partners are thus embarking on a new stage, conceived from the outset as progressive and collective, allowing the existing management team to gradually take over.

According to Cyril Millereau, the outgoing president: “We asked ourselves when the timing was right. The group had to remain independent and be transferred internally. It seemed important to us to anticipate this step while the conditions were right: a solid company, a ready team, and a shared vision.”

A governance built collectively

In 2025, the group's partners undertook a collective effort to define the outlines of the future governance structure. Supported by an external consultant, this reflection resulted in a model based on a chairman supported by a collegial management team.

After ten years as Chairman of ACIEO, Cyril Millereau had expressed, prior to the governance process, his desire to organize a gradual handover of his responsibilities. This evolution is part of a collective effort, at a time when the group has a structured governance and a solid development trajectory. He will support this transition to ensure its smoothness.

At the end of the process, Guillaume Leborgne was unanimously appointed to take over as chairman of the group.

Governance is now structured around five operational partners, already heavily involved in the development of the subsidiaries: Guillaume Leborgne (MAF Atlantique), Julien Cormerais (CMBS), Nathalie Planchais (Deschamps), Vincent Poilvet (Serru) and Thomas Vicari (Ateliers David). All retain their operational responsibilities, in keeping with ACIEO's historical model, based on close ties with the field.

At the same time, Cyril Smedt is leaving the group's shareholding while continuing his duties as group sales director.

For Guillaume Leborgne: "This handover is part of a collective endeavor founded on a strong history and values. Our responsibility is to ensure its continuity and to enable sustainable and successful development for the future of the group."

A capital operation built in continuity

This transfer is accompanied by a new capital operation intended to gradually reorganize the shareholding around the existing management team, while preserving a sustainable balance between the group's independence, internal shareholding and development capacity.

In this context, and on the occasion of a third consecutive operation alongside the group, BTP Capital Investissement, ACIEO's partner since 2019, continues its support in this new phase of development, in conjunction with the managers and historical banking partners: Banque Populaire Grand Ouest, Crédit Mutuel MABN, BTP Banque, Arkéa and CIC Ouest.
