Fourteen construction trades made up the Construction division of the competition, the second largest in competition, with fifteen competitors (one pair in reinforced concrete construction): tiling, framework, reinforced concrete construction, digital construction, cabinetmaking, electrical installation, masonry, carpentry, metalwork, painting and decoration, plastering and dry construction, plumbing and heating, technical refrigeration and stone cutting.
At the initiative of the construction and public works sectors, the CCCA-BTP designed the “1, 2, 3… podium” system, set up jointly with WorldSkills France for the period 2024-2027, in order to strengthen the technical preparation of young people in the construction industry involved in the competition, to support them in its various stages and to offer them the best chances of success.
As formidable ambassadors of the values of excellence and success transmitted during their training, the young competitors, in the company of their professional experts, all fully embodied the mutual assistance, complementarity, determination and team spirit inherent in the construction industry, while symbolizing the excellence of the apprenticeship model.

For Christophe Possémé, President of CCCA-BTP: "Our thirteen young champions from the construction sector, who gave their best, demonstrated their talent, their professionalism and their perfect mastery in the practice of their profession. We are proud of them, alongside all the professionals in the construction and public works sectors, who have long been involved in the competition, which constitutes an exceptional opportunity to promote our professions and the professional training paths that lead to them, in particular apprenticeships. This is the whole meaning and objective of the strong presence of the CCCA-BTP at the heart of the events, under the banner of the "Construction" campaign that we are leading with young people and construction professionals. As part of our partnership with WorldSkills France and at the initiative of the construction and public works sectors, we have also invested in offering our competitors the best chances of success as part of the "1, 2, 3... podium" scheme. Because the WorldSkills competition is the best showcase to put our construction trades in the spotlight, to affirm that apprenticeship is more than ever a path to excellent training, which leads to success and which gives our young people real prospects and a place in the world of tomorrow.
