AC Environnement selected for diagnostics before works and demolition for the Paris Summer Games

A “core business” mission for AC Environment

As part of this mission started in April 2019, the AC Environment group performs all of the mandatory diagnostics before demolition of existing buildings (asbestos, lead and termite diagnostics), will then ensure the diagnosis of the management of waste from the works demolition and the search for asbestos and PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) in asphalt, mandatory before any road work.

Among the 5 sites undergoing rehabilitation before the installation of the Paris summer games facilities, AC Environment teams work in particular on buildings constructed before 1997, which may present materials and products containing asbestos and lead-containing paints. The exterior fittings are mainly coated with asphalt having been produced before 1997, which may also contain asbestos and / or PAHs, thus requiring the carrying out of a compulsory diagnosis since 2013. Finally, any site located in Île-de-France is subject to the obligation to carry out a termite diagnosis before works or demolition.

Historical activity of the group, the detection of asbestos in materials and in the air represents 80% of the turnover of AC Environment. The group's expertise is also exercised in more than a dozen property diagnostics (DTG, DPE, electricity, gas, radon, etc.) as well as in complementary fields such as the removal and measurement of asbestos in the air. , asbestos risk engineering, Project Management Assistance (AMO), asbestos sub-section 4 and the creation of 3D models for BIM management-maintenance for existing buildings.
