A wooden deck with no visible screws

The owner of this contemporary house in Ain, in Simandre-sur-Suran, called on a landscaper to install a terrace and a swimming pool deck combining wooden slats and ceramic tiles. In order to make his project a success, he chose to use the FixeGo® JOUPLAST® concept, a system for assembling wooden deck boards without visible screws.

It only took two weeks to complete this project, the success of which is due to the quality of the materials and the FixeGo kit.^® JOUPLAST^®, which the landscaper has implemented with talent. Placed on pedestals, the terrace is made up of joists and wooden slats surrounding a rectangle of ceramic slabs. It extends around the swimming pool, bordered by ceramic copings. The set covers an area of approximately 150 m².

Innovative and universal product, FixeGo^® JOUPLAST^® is suitable for all stable wood species (except composite wood). The first advantage offered by this 100% invisible fixing is obviously its aesthetic appearance. It ensures a perfect and regular spacing between the slats, without the intervention of traditional screws. The FixeGo® system thus makes it possible to limit the stagnation of water at the fixing points, which has the effect of increasing the durability of the wooden slats.

Made up of hand-breakable fixings and cleats (for the beginning and end of the terrace), the FixeGo kit^® JOUPLAST^® makes it possible to create a regular space between the slats and thus to allow air to circulate between the slats and the joists. It is also ideal for replacing a damaged board without dismantling the entire deck.

Robust and durable, FixeGo^® JOUPLAST^® is made of 100% recycled reinforced polymer, a material that is perfectly resistant to UV and extreme temperatures (from – 30°C to + 60°C). Each fastener resists more than 100 kg when pulled out (in accordance with the recommendations of DTU 51.4).

Another advantage, the FixeGo kit^® requires few tools for the installation of the terrace and adapts to all types of boards (thickness from 19 to 25 mm or 25 mm and more). No specific machining is required.
