In a context of changing building facades in which new materials and construction systems are involved and where energy performance issues must be taken into account, the level of fire safety must be maintained. On June 30, 2015, LNE will bring together professionals from the building sector for a technical day devoted to the fire safety of facades and related regulations and tests.
During this day many professionals, experts, ministerial representatives, associations and unions in the sector (Ministry of Housing, Equality of Territories and Rurality - DHUP, Ministry of the Interior - DGSCGC, AFIPEB, COPREC, FFB, LCPP, SNPU, STO and MYRAL) will come together to discuss with the participants on the fire behavior of facades, the associated rules and tests.
The program will begin with fire regulations in residential buildings and the regulation of facades, walls and construction systems with the respective intervention of a representative of the Ministry of Housing, Territorial Equality and Rural Affairs (DHUP) and a representative of the Ministry of the Interior (DGSCGC). Then two LNE experts will take turns on subjects dealing with the fundamentals of fire safety, IT 249, LEPIR: fire behavior test of facades and the approach in the field of use. Then the MYRAL company will take the floor to share its experience on the LEPIR test with a PIR insulating panel. The day will end with a round table (with the participation of AFIPEB, COPREC, STO, FFB, SNPU, LCPP) on the topic of the concrete application of the IT 249 regulation.
