Owner-occupants: who are they? (IPSOS results)

• Three quarters are over 45 years old (55 on average). They are mostly assets. Almost 80% host at least
• 2 or more people.
• 75% of dwellings are 20 years or older and are therefore likely to require improvements, upgrades,
• renovations, transformations.
• Most of the responding owners (mostly women) are very attached to their home (78% live in houses).
• For most of them, their housing has increased in value, thanks to good maintenance, work carried out and / or their location in a well-rated real estate area.
