New Pusignan Training Center

With a total area of ​​400 m² specifically dedicated to theoretical and practical training on equipment in operation, the new Hörmann Training Center carried out its first session on high-speed doors on December 11, 2023 with its teams in order to test the first modules which will soon be available for the brand's distributors. In fact, there is no specific training for the industrial closure profession and increasing technical skills remains a major challenge in a world where technologies are constantly evolving.

The primary targets of this new Hörmann service will be more broadly all installation professionals as well as industrial maintenance and logistics, with a target of around forty sessions for 2024.

It should be noted that the Hörmann training teams were also able to present modules on the new Flexfire fire curtains as well as the SH 50/SH 100 lifting barriers.

Let us also mention that the available program will also concern dock levelers, fire doors, sectional doors, two-way doors, sliding doors and fire door sets, etc., i.e. In other words, a few dozen possible training courses representing the entire range of Hörmann Industrie solutions.

Of variable duration depending on needs and modules, divided half into theory and practice, the training sessions (6 participants maximum for real effectiveness) must also be QUALIOPI certified in 2024, thus allowing access public and shared financing for companies and professional craftsmen of industrial/logistics equipment and their maintenance.

Two-way doors

Hygienic, robust and functional, these new Hörmann solutions will be established, through their performance, in areas as varied as the hotel and catering industry, the food industry, butchers, bakeries, cold storage warehouses, etc. Equipped with panels polyethylene agri-food door guaranteed for 10 years, resistant to shock, water and cold, these Hörmann solutions are available in 10 colors and are also available with a stainless steel door panel with core in two different designs. Equipped with optional anti-pinch and anti-collision equipment, they are fitted as standard with robust, maintenance-free hinges, with an opening angle of 90 or 180^° per leaf. Synonymous with simple and quick assembly thanks to a high degree of prefabrication, they also offer various fixing solutions depending on the type of wall.

FST fire-rated sliding doors with minimalist design

EI230 fire protection, EI260 fire protection, EI2120 as well as “multifunction”, Hörmann's FST sliding doors are available in 1-leaf, 2-leaf models and in telescopic version (double or triple panel). Claiming a minimalist design without rivets or visible drilling, with a flush closure without entry profile (up to FST30), they also allow you to have an independent door without threshold meeting the criteria for emergency exits. Clad in three possible types of surfaces (smooth sheet steel, V2A stainless steel grain 240 or Pearlgrain), guaranteeing robustness and resistance, they are available in 6 standard colors, in RAL of your choice or according to the NCS color chart and are intended particularly in warehouses and high traffic areas. Note that they ideally complement the largest fire protection range in Europe. Controlled and certified according to standard EN 12605, class C5 (durability test with 200 operations), they can be equipped with SupraMatic HT and ITO 000 FU motors with progressive start and stop as standard, without jerks. This solution is associated with easy control by transmitter, push button or key switch.
In the event of a fire, a patented mechanism disengages the motor, while counterweights ensure reliable closing of the door.

60 series sectional doors

Boasting a door opening speed of up to 1 m/second (for safe and perfectly fluid logistics and less heat loss), these new Hörmann references are equipped with three exclusives. First of all, low-wear door movement, thanks to a large guide rail curve, optimally sized guide rollers and a frame that protects the entire mechanism. Then, silent opening/closing thanks to double guide rollers as standard and 2-component guide rollers (optional) to further reduce movement noise by 5 dB(A). Finally, the third exclusivity noted, anti-corrosion protection with a frame base made of synthetic material reinforced with glass fibers which prevents direct contact of the ground with the frame. Faster, smarter, safer, the 60 series sectional doors offer progressive start and stop and guarantee energy savings (expenses reduced by 80%, consumption in energy saving mode of only 2 w/h ). Finally, the various possible motorizations (WA 500, WA 500 FU and ITO 500 FU) can be fitted, as an option and at no extra charge, with the photoelectric cell in front of the bay, which detects any movement and/or obstacle without contact, with, in if necessary, immobilize the door.

Flexible high speed doors V4020 SEL

These new high-speed doors are equipped with an innovative tubular motor and aluminum side uprights. Thanks to the anodized aluminum surface of the side jambs, the standard shaft coating in white aluminum RAL 9006, the integrated wiring and only a few visible screw heads, the door impresses with its elegance. For high security, note that the door is fitted as standard with a photoelectric barrier which immediately stops the door if a person or vehicle is in the way. It should also be noted that the flexible SoftEdge closing profile guarantees progressive stopping times in the event of an obstacle in order to protect the mechanics of the door and ensure greater longevity. The opening speed is 2 m/second (closing 0,8 m/sec), guaranteeing a minimum “door open” time.

Automatic barriers SH 50 / SH 100

An economical solution, Hörmann's SH 50 and SH 100 barriers are equipped with shock protection, preventing the barrier from closing in the event of obstacles. Equipped with LED lighting integrated into the hood providing visual signaling of the status of the barrier, they are also equipped with a BiSecur wireless receiver, compatible with Hörmann remote controls (standard on the SH 100 and optional on the SH 50) . Finally, let us mention that they offer passage widths of up to 4710 mm for the SH 50 and up to 5750 mm for the SH 100.
