High-tech materials chosen for their thermal benefit
The apartments located on the top floor of the residence benefit from optimal sunshine in a region which has 300 days of sunshine per year.
To guarantee their inhabitants optimal thermal comfort, the choice fell on a pergola with a micro-perforated roof, designed by the companies Velarium and Le Lann Deco, which offers natural light gain and optimal visual comfort, while avoiding glare and the “greenhouse effect” phenomenon.
To guarantee thermal comfort, the pergolas have been fitted with a Soltis Horizon 86 fabric by Serge Ferrari. This microperforated fabric was chosen for its properties of transparency and thermal comfort. Indeed, Soltis Horizon 86 provides excellent visual contact towards the exterior.
to enjoy the view even when the awning is deployed. It is a very efficient canvas that allows up to 28% light transmission while blocking up to 93% of the heat.
In addition to its excellent UV resistance, it allows great ease of cleaning which guarantees the project a lasting aesthetic for years to come while requiring minimum maintenance for users.
Automation for comfort
The pergola ensures perfect canvas tension, thanks to its notched belt mechanism, its aluminum ribs, and above all to the Somfy ecosystem specially designed for pergolas, made up of:
- the Pergola io motorization, which ensures a canvas that is always perfectly stretched for better longevity over time. It has the “obstacle detection” function, thanks to which the motor stops immediately if it detects an obstacle to ensure the protection of the canvas. The "my" position allows you to adjust the canvas to a pre-recorded position in a single gesture.

- Sunilus io motorizations for vertical blinds, which reduce the vis-à-vis and protect from the heat. Equipped with the “Back impulse” function, these motors automatically retighten the canvas at the bottom end of the stroke to keep the canvas taut and avoid the pocket effect, thus extending the longevity of the blinds.
- an Eolis io wind sensor, which provides wind protection to the pergola by raising it automatically as soon as the threshold is reached. There is no risk of damaging the canvas if residents forgot to raise their blinds before going away.

- a Situo 5 io remote control, which allows you to control the entire ecosystem of the pergola thanks to its 5 channels, and to decouple the control of the pergola with shutters for example. The resident can thus with a simple click close all his equipment before leaving.

Residents can thus take full advantage of their pergola with ease.
