A new President and new governance to support the evolution of SERCE

The SERCE thus demonstrates its desire to strengthen the presence of mid-sized companies in governance bodies, and intends to better reflect the positioning of its companies in the tertiary and industrial building markets.

They continue to progress in these markets which now represent more than 60% of their activities, supported by the challenges of decarbonization, energy optimization, digitalization of uses, to which the solutions designed and deployed by companies respond. .

A development which in no way denies the importance given to network and infrastructure activities, represented by the Vice-President of SERCE. The historic core activity of its members is also essential to the success of the energy transition, and at the center of the many associated issues on which the SERCE intends to pursue an active dialogue with major contractors and local stakeholders.

Building on the work of its commissions and the work of its 12 regional delegations, the organization wishes to exert all its weight, on the ground and in the public debate, while the success of the energy transition requires immediate commitment to heavy investments, to train and recruit new skills to speed up the work.

In this context of lasting changes, the SERCE will strengthen its action in 2024 by notably creating 3 new commissions to enrich these reflections and better support its members: “Smart grids and Production of renewable energies”; “Sustainable mobility / Electric vehicle charging infrastructure” and “Data, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence”. A development, which will also result in the creation of two new positions within the permanent team.
