A new generation winery designed in partnership with Alice Architecture and the TVMC Terroir Viticole association

The Alice Architecture agency is proud to announce the construction of an innovative 1.800m2 winery in the heart of the Massif Central. This project was designed in close collaboration with the TVMC Terroir Viticole association. Several technologies were used such as BIM and 3D modeling.

A pioneering experiment with BIM

From the start of construction, TVMC Terroir Viticole du Massif Central piloted an experiment based on Building Information Modeling (BIM), a revolutionary collaborative model. This process is based on a co-construction involving craftsmen, architect, client and the TVMC association. BIM is built around three pillars: strategy, process and technology. Each craftsman contributes to a platform of technical data, integrated into 3D models designed by Charles Coulanjon, pioneer in digital design and founder of Alice Architecture.

Pooling of skills for cost optimization

For Charles Coulanjon: “The pooling of skills from the start of the project brings enormous added value in optimizing costs. Originally, the project was limited to a rectangular cladding building. Today, with an equivalent budget, we have been able to meet all of the customer's needs. »

The 1.800 m² cellar is designed for the production and direct sale of wine. It also includes a local products store and a multipurpose room for 150 people. Located near a river and backing onto the main road, the intimate outdoor space is distinguished by its wine glass shape seen from above.

Noble materials for optimal comfort and low energy consumption

Alice Architecture favors the use of biosourced materials, limiting the use of concrete. The reception tower and the aging cellar will be built in solid Provence stone, while 871 m² of straw wood frame walls, manufactured in Allier, will form a protective envelope. These materials guarantee thermal comfort and substantial energy savings, supplemented by wood wool for interior acoustics. Facing due south, the building will be equipped with photovoltaic solar panels, ensuring energy autonomy equivalent to the consumption of fifty homes.

This overall construction process tends towards energy autonomy and is adaptable to individual house projects. Alice Architecture is leading the way by using materials of the future: stone, wood, earth and straw.
