This range has the particularity of being compact, efficient and silent.
Replacing the Daikin Altherma M range in sizes 5 and 7, this solution is ideal for new construction projects (especially for small sizes) as well as for renovation programs when replacing/backing up non-condensing boilers (gas or fuel oil) and the replacement of an old Monobloc Air/Water heat pump.
Monobloc group all in one
The outdoor unit of the new Daikin Altherma 3 M range available from size 4 to 8 has a ventilation grille with a white covering.
The Daikin Altherma 3 M Medium Temperature 55°C heat pump is available in heating only or in a reversible version (heating and cooling), only in a single-phase version. The range also has an integrated 3kW electrical back-up as standard.
It can be connected to low and medium temperature radiators, to underfloor heating or heating/cooling (in the event of a reversible solution) or to fan coil units (which operate in heating and cooling).
All the components necessary for the operation of this system are integrated into the outdoor unit, freeing the interior space of any installation, with the exception of a domestic hot water tank or a thermodynamic or solar water heater if this option is retained.
Daikin offers the possibility of installing the outdoor unit below a window to gain even more discretion. Thanks to its concealed single fan and its sober colors, the device blends easily into the decor, and is also acoustically forgotten with a sound pressure from 36 dB(A) at 5 m.
Compact and discreet, it also has the advantage of facilitating maintenance operations for installers thanks to the integration of a rotating plate on the front of the unit in order to simplify access to the electronic board.
Meets carbon neutrality objectives
Operating in heating mode in winter and in cooling mode in summer, the new series of the Daikin Altherma 3 M range is offered with the energy label up to A+++ (operation at 35°C). Comfort is also guaranteed in winter, with a water outlet temperature of 55°C down to outside temperatures of -15°C, and guaranteed operation down to -25°C.
The system runs on R-32 refrigerant, a fluid with a global warming potential 3 times lower than R-410a (former fluid used in Daikin Altherma heat pumps) and promoting the decarbonization of our heating equipment. In addition, R-32 also reduces the amount of fluid needed to operate the system, compared to R-410a.
Such advantages allow the Daikin Altherma 3 M range to fully meet the requirements of the 2020 Environmental Regulations to promote low-carbon constructions. In addition, the system is eligible for aid for energy renovation, which can be combined and depends on household income (Ma Prime Renov' – CEE – regional aid, etc.).
Control and Connectivity
As with its entire range of 3rd generation Daikin Altherma air/water heat pumps, the monobloc solution benefits from the same advantages thanks to its connectivity to the Daikin Residential Cloud. Thanks to a WLAN card (supplied as standard) and a secure wireless connection, the end user has simplified access to various connected services.
He can easily control his Daikin Altherma 3 M Monobloc heat pump from his smartphone or tablet, at home or remotely, using the "Onecta" application. It is used to operate the heating system, define schedules, control temperatures in real time and monitor consumption.
One of the connected services also allows control by voice via the “Amazon Alexa” and “Google Assistant” voice assistants thanks to clear instructions such as “OK Google, turn on the heat pump”.
Daikin has partnered with Somfy, Niko and Sowee to strengthen its connected home ecosystem. Control and management of the heating system (on/off – DHW boost mode function, etc.) are very easy.
With the purchase of the Daikin Altherma 3 M heat pump, individuals are invited to register on the standbyme.daikin.fr platform (http://standbyme.daikin.fr/), developed by Daikin, to offer them the possibility to subscribe to the 10-year parts warranty.
Installers can subscribe to a new service: DCS Residential. Once the installation of the user client is connected to the Daikin residential cloud and the registration of the unit on Stand By Me, the installer can then modify the parameters remotely (On/Off function, activation of boost mode or then adjustment of the water outlet temperature).
Inside the housing, the "Madoka" design remote control (available in white, gray or black) will be easily and discreetly fixed to the wall (85 x 85 mm) and will allow you to control a large number of functions.
