The French Building Federation (FFB) supports and accompanies the new generation of construction professionals during the 48th National Trades Competition, which will be held from October 16 to 18, 2025 at Parc Chanot in Marseille.
A true showcase of French know-how, the event will bring together nearly 800 young people competing in 69 professions divided into nine families.
In the construction sector, the competitions will showcase essential trades for the economy – masonry, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, painting, joinery, plastering, etc. – with the aim of inspiring careers and strengthening the attractiveness of a sector undergoing rapid transformation. Candidates recognized in Marseille will continue their journey to international competitions: WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai and EuroSkills 2027 in Düsseldorf.
This edition is part of the exceptional momentum recorded during the EuroSkills European final in Herning (Denmark). France rose to first place in the ranking of nations thanks to the construction trades. Eight out of nine French competitors from the construction industry won medals, confirming the excellence of the training provided in the sector's companies and Apprentice Training Centers (CFA).
