When sport inspires interior design: 1587 Prime focuses on densified wood

The space establishes itself as an immersive experience where bold design, authentic materials, and performance requirements converge. The walnut Woodura Planks play a key role in this architectural expression and help to solidify the project's identity.

An arrival conceived as a staged performance

From the moment you enter, the restaurant tells a story. Inspired by the iconic American sport, the arrival sequence is theatrical. Visitors pass through a tunnel that gradually narrows, evoking the dramatic walk of the players before they enter the field.

Inside, the ground floor is organized around a central stage hosting live concerts every night. A 20-seat bar and intimate banquettes offer a subtle balance between conviviality and comfort.

A monumental staircase leads to the upper floor, where a semi-private space can accommodate more than 40 guests, complemented by a private lounge with seating for 20.

The tables have been precisely positioned to offer a direct view of the open kitchen, revealing Noble 33's culinary expertise. A discreet VIP entrance, designed away from the main traffic flow, accentuates the exclusive nature of the venue.

With its 238 seats, the restaurant manages to maintain a feeling of intimacy despite its size.

The choice of real wood as the foundation of the project

From the earliest design phases, the team chose to incorporate real wood in order to create an authentic and luxurious atmosphere.

The flooring plays a structuring role here. It balances a strong interior architecture and brings warmth, texture and depth to the space.

Aesthetics were a determining factor.

But the choice of flooring also met high technical requirements. In a high-traffic restaurant environment, the material had to withstand heavy foot traffic, splashes and daily wear and tear, while maintaining its appearance over time.

Ease of installation and competitive installation costs also weighed in the decision, ensuring operational efficiency and budget control, without compromising on the architectural intent.

Controlled technical constraints

The project presented several challenges, including an irregular floor plan and numerous transitions between floor coverings, complicating implementation. A late change of material also necessitated a solution available within a short timeframe.
