The goal was to create colors that blend harmoniously into rural and urban landscapes, while adapting to the diversity of materials used in the building. Indeed, modern facades often combine mixed finishes and coverings, such as wood, concrete, glass, steel, stone, or even facing bricks. This new approach redefined the color selection of existing color charts: overly saturated or dark shades were removed to favor the creation of a resolutely natural palette, ideally suited to all contexts and configurations.
Weber's new offering, dedicated to specifiers of its facade coatings, consists of 120 colors, called "Les Nuancées." It aims to be both creative and committed, guaranteeing architectural quality and offering shades appropriate to the regional characteristics of buildings.
A short range of 48 colors, “Essential Nuances,” also allows facade users and CMIs to simplify the choice of color.
Enhance facades and address environmental challenges
Building on the success of their first collaboration in 2023 on the "Les Harmonieuses" range of tile joints, Weber has once again called upon the expertise of Nacarat Color Design to enhance architectural heritage while integrating contemporary buildings. This partnership, combined with an in-depth study of current and future architectural trends, the colors of French buildings, and environmental requirements, has reinforced Weber's desire to offer a broad palette with multiple shades, suitable for new construction and facade renovation.
The shades include traditional colors such as ochre, yellow, orange, pink, red, blue, and gray to blend into the local landscape and preserve heritage and regional identity. This color selection complies with RE2020 regulations, removing dark shades in favor of lighter tones, thus reducing heat absorption by the facades and promoting comfort in summer.
Furthermore, the color classification of the coatings is organized by clarity and presented in different aspects (scraped, troweled, stamped) to facilitate the choice during the design of the projects. This classification system offers great flexibility, allowing creative combinations with other materials such as wood, glass or even metal.
It should be noted that this new range concerns several Weber references, including waterproofing and decorative coatings from the weberpral, weberlite, weber codipral DS, weber procalit product ranges; weber terranova print matrix coatings; as well as coatings and facings from the Georges Weber range for old buildings and webertherm 305 ITE coatings.
Finally, always very attentive to reducing its environmental impact, Weber has redesigned its presentation tools to make them less energy-intensive, favoring supports made from 88% recycled and recyclable cardboard, without plastic. New square-format samples, with a scratched finish and a thickness of 5 mm, have also been developed to guarantee greater robustness, with marking on the back and on the pallet allowing immediate identification of the color.
