Watts launches OneFlow®: the innovative and sustainable alternative for preventing limescale in homes

In France, more than two-thirds of departments are affected by very hard water, the number one enemy of plumbing fixtures. Over time, limescale deposits accumulate and clog pipes. This results in faster deterioration of household appliances, higher maintenance costs, and, even more significantly, a 10% increase in energy consumption for just 1 mm of limescale!

For over 150 years, Watts has offered a wide range of solutions, particularly in the areas of plumbing and water network protection, to improve user comfort and energy efficiency. With innovation ingrained in its DNA, it was only natural that the manufacturer mobilized its Research & Development team to design OneFlow.^®, a unique and sustainable alternative to conventional water softeners.

OneFlow^®a reliable solution against limescale

Designed to protect equipment and pipes against the formation of scale buildup, OneFlow^® The Watts system is a simple cartridge system, without added salts or chemicals. A truly effective alternative to conventional water softeners, it controls limescale buildup within the plumbing system and operates optimally up to incoming water hardness levels of 513mg/l of calcium carbonate.

OneFlow^® Watts is installed on the cold water supply line, just upstream of the connection that supplies the equipment it is designed to protect (individual water heater with or without tank, heating systems, washing machines, etc.).

To adapt to the consumption of each household, it is available in two capacities:

OneFlow^® OFTWH-R series with a flow rate of 23 liters per minute, corresponding to the water consumption of 4 people.
OneFlow^® OFTWH series with a flow rate of 38 liters per minute for an installation with more than 4 people.

It therefore meets the needs of all residential applications.

OneFlow^®a simple but effective operation

Unlike water softeners, the microbeads contained in the OneFlow cartridge^® They neutralize limescale by capturing mineral ions (calcium + magnesium), which are responsible for the formation of limescale.

Their electrical charge neutralizes, and they transform into harmless, inert microscopic crystals. This process does not alter the composition or quality of the water. These crystals remain suspended and are naturally carried away by the water flow into the drain without adhering to pipes. As a result, indoor fixtures and faucets remain free of limescale, which no longer builds up.

OneFlow^®minimal maintenance and maximum durability

OneFlow tartar prevention device^® The Watts filter requires no rinsing, thus avoiding unnecessary water consumption. Furthermore, its maintenance is minimal: simply replace the cartridge every two years.

Compact and lightweight, it simply attaches to the wall and operates completely autonomously, without electricity, thus saving energy in addition to optimizing the lifespan of all the equipment it protects (sinks, taps, washing machines, dishwashers, etc.).
