Vicat's low-carbon offer is enriched by the first biobased ready-to-use concrete (BPE) made from wood: the “best of both worlds” towards carbon neutrality.
The alliance of cement and wood
Composed of low-carbon cement "Naturat", wood aggregates and a mineral filler, it will be delivered in a router for an implementation identical to that of traditional concrete. Compatible with the know-how that masons have developed for decades, it has a rheology of 90 minutes and a consistency suitable for filling formwork. The diversity of formulations makes it possible to meet many applications.
A first project will be carried out at the Puces du Canal in Villeurbanne (69) for a structure linked to soft mobility.
