Välinge Flooring announces usage classification 33 for its densified wood flooring

These first ten months of presence on French territory have enabled the Swedish company to better understand the market by meeting key and influential players in the professional sphere (distributors, architects, installers, etc.). The company was keen to take into account the comments heard and to use its know-how to quickly adapt its offer.

Until then, the collection of densified wood flooring Välinge Flooring, which is available in 2 widths XL & XXL (respectively 206 & 271 mm) – here no change planned for the immediate future – and its Woodura technology combined with extra vitrification -mat in 7 layers made it possible to achieve a 23/31 use classification, giving the possibility of access to residential premises with intensive use or passage (class 23) and access to commercial premises with low use.

From now on, all 2022 productions will reach the 23/33 classification, opening up new prospects for the Swedish brand.

A novelty that widens the field of possibilities

Use class 33 gives access to many premises or destinations to which Välinge Flooring aspires, with priority given to hotels, restaurants and offices.

The company also plans to go further in the classification process by launching a file for UPEC, the objective being to give even more weight and legitimacy in access to the French professional market, whether in terms of distribution or prescription.

Among the other new features to come which will be announced soon: the launch of a new brushed range for the residential market.

Focus on Woodura

Woodura technology is a continuation of Välinge's eco-responsible commitment. A more responsible alternative thanks to the significant optimization of the raw material, 10 times more floor coverings can be produced from the same quantity of wood.

The raw material is collected in responsibly managed forests with the FSC label, where the wood is processed locally, with respect for the environment and social and ethical standards. A sustainable method of harvesting and production that ensures the sustainability of the forest for generations to come.
