As part of its sustainable stormwater management strategy, Valenciennes Métropole undertook a major project in Marly (59) in October 2025 to improve the quality of wastewater discharged into the natural environment. During this project, two Stradal DDselect® hydrodynamic sedimentation treatment systems were installed to protect the Rhonelle, a particularly sensitive local waterway.
