Vacant housing: Paris will raise the tax to 30% and then 60% from 2027

The Paris Council has adopted the raising of the tax rates on vacant housing to the legal ceilings from January 1, 2027. The City, which has identified 150.000 vacant homes in the capital, hopes to bring 20.000 properties back onto the market, while the opposition denounces a "tax onslaught".
