With their timeless elegance, these iconic LED projectors have evolved over time to incorporate the latest technologies and continue to offer high performance, particularly in terms of color rendering, a quality always appreciated by lighting designers, curators and gallery owners.
In line with the technical and aesthetic developments made to Concord Beacon® Since its first version, the new range of LED projectors has now been completely redesigned to reveal the true beauty of art.
The new Concord Beacon® reveals the original colors of masterpieces
Regardless of the location, paper works and documents, bindings and various supports (inks, photographic emulsions, dyes and pigments) are particularly sensitive to light, which is a common cause of deterioration.
Emitting neither infrared nor ultraviolet rays, the LED technology used for the new generation of Concord Beacon projectors® proves ideal for enhancing and preserving works in galleries, museums and private art collections.
Offering a minimum CRI of 97, this precision lighting ensures that every hue, tone, and detail is revealed with the utmost accuracy and exceptional color vibrancy. Enhancing the viewing experience for visitors, exhibits appear as natural as possible when illuminated.
A versatile and high-performance range with a minimalist design...
Developed by professional lighting designers and manufactured at Sylvania Group's Erlangen, Germany, factory, the new Concord Beacon range®, even more efficient and innovative, can be personalized according to the specificities of each project.
Featuring a sleek, seamless design thanks to the absence of a visible driver, it features an invisible adapter nestled within the track. Beyond enhancing the projectors' overall aesthetic, this approach ensures they fit seamlessly into any space, regardless of architectural style.
Significant new developments in the range include the tilt and rotation locking mechanism, the silicone ring with beam angle indication, the redesigned rear and side air vents (with internal air grille for the latter), the individually variable potentiometer (On-board) and the laser-etched Concord logo.
…to adapt to all lighting requirements
Designed to meet a variety of lighting needs, the new Concord Beacon range® comes in three models of projectors mounted on rails or on a bracket:
- Concord Beacon® offered with three fixed beam angles (narrow 19°, medium 36°, wide 55°) which respectively allow you to accentuate specific details, provide balanced lighting to precisely illuminate individual pieces or small displays and illuminate larger surfaces or entire walls,
- Beacon Muse, whose optics are adjustable from 8° to 55°, using a rubber front ring, allows you to easily change the desired beam angle, providing great freedom in lighting design.
Both are available in three fixed color temperatures (2700, 3000 and 4000K) and offer a luminous flux of 940 to 1.900 lm.
- Finally, Beacon Muse Tune uses "Tunable white" technology to customize lighting by varying the color temperature from 2700K (warm tint) to 6500K (bright and cool light) and create the perfect ambiance in any environment. Beacon Muse Tune inherits the Muse function with a fully adjustable beam from 10° to 50° by a rubber front ring.
In black or white finish, all LED projectors in the new Concord Beacon range® from Sylvania Group are offered with a range of accessories (elongation lens, anti-glare, honeycomb filter, ring and barndoor shutters) and rails (recessed or suspended, trimless, round and H-section) for great installation flexibility.
Equipped with an integrated dimmable dimmer (On-Board) or in DALI version, they can also be combined with the SylSmart Standalone lighting management solution to create a unique lighting experience at each exhibition while saving energy.
Presented exclusively at SITEM (International Exhibition of Museums, Cultural and Tourism Venues) which will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris on March 25 and 26 (stand A26), this new generation of LED projectors marks the first step in the renewal of the Concord by Sylvania Group brand in 2025. A year that promises to be rich in new products for this major player in lighting, a symbol of innovation and know-how.
