The French government announced on Tuesday, July 7, a new €3 billion savings plan to maintain the budget target set for 2026. This decision comes in a context of economic slowdown, marked in particular by the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East, which led the executive to revise its growth forecast to 0,7% for 2026, compared to 0,9% anticipated in April.
