5 areas of action for concrete assistance to employees
The social action fund is a support mechanism set up by professional branches to promote social action of mutual aid and solidarity for employees and their beneficiaries. Its purpose is to provide, on an individual or collective basis, additional assistance in addition to conventional measures (health/provident insurance). Since April 2024, joint organizations have been working on the establishment and deployment of the first funded aid for employees of companies falling within the scope of the Collective Agreement for Architecture and Project Management Companies.
Among them, the system offers employees:
- Assistance for family caregivers
To support employee caregivers in their daily lives, the professional branch of architectural firms is setting up a personalized support system and financial aid of €500.
- Human and material support for parents of a child born very prematurely or with a deficiency or handicap
To support employees who are parents of children with disabilities, born with a handicap, or born very prematurely, the professional branch of architectural firms offers financial aid and personalized support.
- Parenting support systems
To relieve employees and bring balance between their professional and personal lives, the professional branch of architectural firms offers and finances up to 10 hours of academic support and 10 hours of childcare for each child.
- Partial support system for psychological monitoring
To provide support to employees and their dependents, the professional branch of architectural firms provides a system that partially covers psychological support. This assistance amounts to €50 per session, limited to seven sessions per year, for a total of €7 per person.
- Financial assistance system for employees and their dependents who are victims of domestic violence
To support them in their new lives, the professional branch of architectural firms is offering financial assistance to employees and their dependents who are victims of domestic and family violence. This assistance amounts to €1.000, increased by 25% per dependent child.
Future beneficiaries can now find out more, submit their application and submit their file directly on the website of the Professional Branch of Architecture Companies by logging on to the dedicated site.
A Solidarity Architecture Branch
In 2020, employers' organizations and trade unions in the professional sector of architectural firms signed an agreement to create a social action fund managed by the CPNGFAS (National Joint Committee for the Management of the Social Action Fund). This fund is funded by a 2% levy on health and welfare contributions.
For Gilles Lefebure, President of the National Joint Committee for the Management of the Social Action Fund (CPNGFAS): "The launch of this social action fund is part of a solidarity initiative that contrasts with the spirit of the times, marked by withdrawal and the growing precariousness of professions. This social fund is a concrete gesture of solidarity and a collective response to growing fragility."
A campaign to raise awareness of this fund
To support the launch of its social action fund, the professional branch of architectural firms is rolling out a major advertising campaign designed to raise awareness among potential beneficiaries. The campaign, designed by the Strike agency, plays on the proximity between the profession's ability to design buildings with structures that respect the living environment, are resilient, and durable, and the connections with family members, those invisible yet essential foundations that are caregivers, single parents, etc.
For this reason, the Architecture Branch has adopted a new slogan: “There to support those who build.” The campaign is divided into 5 posters, 5 scenes from life anchored in reality, on which is affixed a message that echoes the lexical field of architecture: “Give it all a raze. Rebuild.”, “We have a plan for you.”, “Strengthen your foundations.”… The 100% digital media plan will be based on three main points of contact: display, specialized and professional media, and social networks, and will then extend to the written press before the summer.
