An exemplary project praised for its technical excellence, innovation and educational commitment
This competition, organized by engineering students, aims to promote the most exemplary achievements in the construction sector, based on demanding criteria: innovation, safety, environmental impact and transmission of knowledge.
With this award, the IDEC GROUP confirms its role as a leader committed to the transformation of the sector, by placing innovation, environmental performance and people at the heart of its projects.
An exceptional project for an exceptional client: SISLEY
The winning project is the future SISLEY cosmetics production site in Vendôme (Loir-et-Cher), designed and built by IDEC SANTÉ. Covering a surface area of 17.500 m², this project embodies engineering excellence applied to the luxury cosmetics industry. Combining high-tech technology, environmental performance, and customer-focused requirements, this site sets a new benchmark in the IDEC GROUP portfolio.
Innovation and sustainability at the heart of the project
This project was distinguished by the integration of innovative solutions from the design phase: digital model (BIM), augmented reality for progress monitoring, reinforced safety devices, architectural choices optimizing both energy efficiency and operating comfort.
As part of an ambitious environmental approach, the project aims for BREEAM Excellent certification. It incorporates cutting-edge equipment to reduce its carbon footprint:
- 1.772 photovoltaic panels on the roof
- Geothermal power plant
- Energy recovery systems
- Smart rainwater management
- Sustainable and eco-designed materials
Transmit, train, inspire: a structuring commitment of the IDEC GROUP
The Best Construction Site in France 2025 award also recognizes the IDEC GROUP's strong commitment to the transfer of expertise. Last April, the SISLEY construction site hosted students from ESTP (French Institute for Public Works and Technology) for an immersive day combining technological demonstrations, meetings with IDEC SANTÉ teams, and a guided tour of the site. This educational initiative made a lasting impression and earned the construction site the distinction of winner by the student jury, highlighting the strong ties between the Group and the academic world.
Since its inception, the IDEC GROUP has made welcoming and training young people a pillar of its development strategy. Each year, around fifty interns and work-study students join the teams, representing nearly 10% of the total workforce. 73% of them sign permanent contracts at the end of their career within the group. This is an ambitious HR policy, designed as a veritable springboard to employment and the construction of tomorrow's real estate projects.
For Elodie SANCHEZ, HRBP – IDEC GROUP: "This project fully reflects the culture of the IDEC GROUP, based on transmission, excellence, and commitment. We, within the Human Resources Department, are particularly proud to have led this project. The teams on the ground were fully committed, aware of the importance of sharing our know-how with young talent. It is by forging these concrete links with the new generations that we are building the future of our sector."
National recognition
This first-place finish in 1 is a testament to the constant drive for improvement and commitment from all of the Group's teams. This award confirms the IDEC GROUP's position as a leading player in the delivery of complex, sustainable, and innovative projects.
The IDEC GROUP is delighted with this distinction, which crowns an ambitious and exemplary project. This victory is all the more meaningful given that it was won in the face of top-level competition, bringing together major names in the sector such as SPIE BATIGNOLLES, EIFFAGE, BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION, GSE, QUARTUS, CEGELEC, and COLAS.
The awards ceremony for the Best Construction Site in France 2025 competition was held in the prestigious setting of the Saint-Gobain Tower, in the heart of Paris's La Défense district. The event brought together key players in the construction sector who had competed, alongside ESTP Paris students, the competition's organizers and judges. It was a highlight, a celebration of excellence, innovation, and sharing between construction professionals and the next generation of professionals.

An ambitious strategy confirmed
This award reinforces the IDEC GROUP's strategy: to make each achievement a showcase of excellence, to strengthen its appeal to young talent and to respond to the industrial and environmental challenges of its clients with an innovative and committed approach.
