Designed for buildings with a large footprint, it meets the new requirements linked to the acceleration of photovoltaics and the environmental constraints reinforced by the RE2020. Combining robustness, hydraulic performance and technical longevity, the G500 embodies DAL'ALU's commitment to innovation in service of the energy transition.
Addressing the challenges posed by photovoltaic roofs

The rapid development of photovoltaic installations, particularly on agricultural, industrial and logistics roofs, is profoundly changing stormwater management.
Solar panels, by waterproofing and channeling surfaces, accelerate the flow of water and increase its intensity.
This phenomenon necessitates the use of specific drainage systems with high capacity and high mechanical resistance.
The G500 was designed with this in mind. Its 457 mm diameter and 200 cm² effective cross-section allow it to collect very large volumes of water, even under heavy rainfall.
It efficiently channels runoff towards infiltration or recovery systems. Its pre-painted aluminum structure from the 3000 and 5000 series, with a thickness of 7/10 mm, offers high resistance to corrosion, climatic variations, and point loads.
A proven system, manufactured on-site and adapted to all terrains
The G500 gutter is profiled directly on-site using a DAL'ALU mobile workshop, guaranteeing custom manufacturing without joints or welds. This technology allows for a perfect fit, faster installation, no material waste, and optimal linear waterproofing.
The internal spreader hooks are spaced every 50 cm, in accordance with DTU 40.5, reinforcing stability over long spans. Installation on metal rails is also possible, particularly in demanding environments.
The G500 system is fully modular: downpipes up to Ø300 mm, flat or universal outlets, water boxes, reinforced elbows and bases, all designed and produced in France.
Optional accessories such as extruded aluminum dolphins, reinforced folded omega profiles or leaf guards can further secure the installations, particularly in areas with heavy vegetation or heavy traffic.
A solution certified to meet the most demanding standards
Each component of the G500 system complies with current standards: NF EN 573-3 (aluminum alloys), NF EN 1396 (pre-painted aluminum), NF EN 612 (metal gutter profiles), and NF P 36-201 (rainwater drainage systems). Installation conforms to DTU 40.5, guaranteeing professional integration regardless of the roof type.
Perfectly aligned with the requirements of RE2020, the G500 offers a technical and responsible solution. Made from decarbonized aluminum and fully recyclable, it helps to limit the building's carbon footprint throughout its entire lifecycle.
Its local production reduces transport-related emissions and contributes to a local economy.
Beyond the RE2020, the G500 also meets the specific constraints of projects subject to ICPE (Installations Classés pour la Protection de l'Environnement) regulations, particularly for agricultural, industrial or logistics buildings.
These systems require robust, reliable rainwater drainage systems designed to handle large volumes. Thanks to its high collection capacity and robust mechanical resistance, the G500 ensures the drainage of runoff even during intense periods of heavy rainfall, minimizing the risk of overflows, pollution, and damage to infrastructure.
One year of field feedback: effectiveness validated by professionals
Since January 2025, the G500 has been deployed on hundreds of construction sites across the territory: agricultural sheds, industrial buildings, logistics warehouses, photovoltaic canopies and commercial buildings.
In each of these contexts, it has demonstrated its effectiveness, ease of installation and longevity, regardless of climatic conditions.
The G500 appeals to craftsmen, specifiers and builders alike for its reliability, speed of installation and versatility.
On site, carpenters and roofers appreciate being able to reduce installation time by up to 20% thanks to on-site profiling, while limiting rework and strengthening safety, including on windy or isolated sites.
Metal construction companies, particularly in the agricultural sector, find in it a durable solution with excellent resistance to climatic variations, standardized and easy to integrate into their structures, compatible with BIM/3D models and easily meeting environmental requirements.
Finally, the architects praise its understated and refined aesthetics, its regulatory compliance and its ease of integration from the design phases, thanks to comprehensive documentation available on BIMobject.
An innovation strategy driven by the network
Developed with the support of a network of 150 franchisees, the G500 is a concrete example of this on-the-ground approach. It is available throughout France, guaranteeing each customer a consistent level of execution, responsive after-sales service, and personalized technical support.
According to Bernard Houtin, Managing Director of DAL'ALU: « With the G500We have designed a solution that is technical, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with the challenges of the energy transition. It perfectly illustrates the DAL'ALU network's ability to innovate and anticipate market changes. »
