Apave Group announces the acquisition of Aktio and strengthens its expertise in sustainability and carbon accounting

Founded in 2020, Aktio is a French player, expert in carbon accounting, recognized in the sustainability market, whose expertise combines excellence in consulting and technological innovation with the development of SaaS software for accounting and management of greenhouse gas emissions.

Growing rapidly since its creation and certified B-CorpTM since 2022, the company now has around forty experts, climate consultants and web developers.

Aktio has supported 500 organizations with their decarbonization challenges, and its software is used by dozens of partner consulting firms.

Aktio boasts unparalleled expertise, particularly serving French and European mid-sized companies whose support needs on sustainability issues are accelerating. Its hybrid offering combines "Climate Consulting" and "Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Management Software."

Apave's acquisition of Aktio is part of the Group's growth momentum since the launch of its strategic plan at the end of 2020, this time with the ambition of supporting clients in managing their climate risks and sustainability trajectories. Aktio thus becomes the Group's 26th acquisition.

This new entity Aktio – Apave, by bringing together Aktio experts and consultants and experts and consultants from Apave's "Climate and Sustainability" department, becomes the Apave group's reference entity in terms of sustainability.

Aktio – Apave positions itself as a leading player in sustainability consulting, thanks to a very concrete and operational service offering, and an innovative ESG software publisher. Thus, the Apave Group intends to accelerate its capacity to meet the growing needs expressed by its clients, in the implementation of more sustainable practices, by integrating environmental, social and governance issues into their operations.
