Apave Group accelerates its development on the Iberian Peninsula with the acquisition of Seitech

Seitech: Spanish leader in digitalization for field operations

Based in Madrid and operating throughout Spain and Portugal, Seitech offers inspection, quality control and testing services aimed at reducing health and safety risks, lowering costs, optimizing processes and increasing technical quality controls on the projects it works on.

Since its creation in 2017, Seitech has become a recognized player in the Iberian Peninsula thanks to an offering that has evolved and become digitalized in recent years. Today, the company uses digitalization and new technologies, such as computer vision, machine learning, remote vision, and business intelligence, to offer practical and cost-effective solutions for its clients' field operations.

With its 80 employees, Seitech supports its portfolio of national and international clients with cutting-edge technological solutions (continuous vision cameras, remote monitoring, artificial intelligence (AI), etc.) in inspection, quality control and testing. Its offering is complemented by consulting, technical assistance and training services.

An acquisition that strengthens the Apave Group's presence on the Iberian Peninsula and intensifies its technological offering, particularly for the telecoms sector.

The acquisition of Seitech by Apave is part of the growth dynamic initiated by the Group since the launch of its 2021 - 2025 strategic plan. Seitech thus becomes the Group's 29th acquisition, confirming its desire to become a global leader in the ICT sector (Test, Inspection, Certification).

The arrival of Seitech strengthens the Group's presence in Europe, one of the priority geographic areas defined by Apave in terms of development, more specifically on the Iberian Peninsula where the Group had already invested since 2020 with the acquisition of Eurocontrol. Present in the same territory, the offers of Eurocontrol and Seitech are highly complementary, particularly for the telecommunications sector. Following the acquisition of Eurocontrol at the end of 2020 and Systemics (a Polish player specializing in telephone network performance measurements and analyses) in 2023, this acquisition consolidates the Group's offering for players in the telecommunications sector.

The integration of Seitech's expertise into the Group will enable it to offer high value-added consulting and technical support services in the telecommunications and electricity sectors on the Iberian Peninsula and throughout the world, where these two sectors have been identified as strategic for the economic future. In addition, Seitech's technological DNA represents an opportunity for the Group to continue making progress in the use of cutting-edge technologies, such as image recognition or artificial intelligence, both in its internal processes and in the value-added services offered to its customers.
