First edition on June 11 and 12, 2025 in Metz
Specializing in meetings on the themes of energy, construction, renewable gas, landscaping, urban planning, etc., and in complementarity with the national benchmark exhibition BEPOSITIVE, the GreenTech+ division of GL events is strengthening its regional coverage by launching the regional TERRENTRA meetings.
The objective: to break down barriers between sectors and support the local deployment of solutions in favor of the energy transition.
TERRENTRA, the transition meetings in the territories
Territorialization and stakeholder proximity are essential levers for achieving decarbonization objectives. Through a multi-destination strategy and a dense territorial network, Terrentra aims to bring together economic stakeholders in the regions while strengthening ties with local public and community stakeholders. Drawing on the specific dynamics of each region, Terrentra offers a tailor-made program, with concrete and forward-looking content, perfectly adapted to local realities.
Between 2025 and 2026, four TERRENTRA trade shows will be held in the heart of four dynamic regions: Grand Est (Metz), Hauts-de-France (Amiens), Normandy (Caen), and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Poitiers). Over two days, these new B4B events will bring together manufacturers, local authorities, decision-makers, and project leaders. Designed to foster friendly and productive exchanges, they will offer the opportunity to discover new technologies, share projects, and strengthen synergies between local stakeholders. These key events will promote territorial transition strategies and foster new collaborations and business opportunities.
For Raphaël Goerens, Director of Terrentra exhibitions: « The creation of Terrentra was born from a dual observation: the preponderant role of territories in the success of the energy transition, and the opportunities it represents for economic actors. With our ability to create convergence points that promote the deployment of concrete solutions, and our knowledge of the markets and sectors that we have supported for many years, the proposal of these new meetings was an obvious one. Firmly anchored in reality and as close as possible to territorial actors, Terrentra events are perfectly complementary to our benchmark trade shows on a national scale. A simple promise: the opportunities and solutions of the energy transition, adapted to your needs, at your fingertips, close to you. »
Spread across four key regions, these exhibitions highlight strategic territories capable of revealing their full energy potential by leveraging their strengths and ambitions. Each territory positions itself as a key player in the energy transition, central to national and European economic challenges.

And the visitors?
The Terrentra trade fairs target professional visitors in each region, spread across four major energy transition markets:
Roofers, facade specialists, PV installers, electricians, heating engineers, air conditioning engineers, chimney fitters, attic installers, design offices, project owners, architects, local authorities, etc.
Farmers, energy operators, project leaders, design offices, communities, etc.
Design offices, building maintenance managers, industrial building managers, energy engineers, research officers, renewable energy project managers, etc.
Charging station installers, developers, building managers, communities, etc.
A first edition in the heart of the Grand Est region
A pioneering region in the renewable energy market, the Grand Est region is positioned as the leading region in biomethane injection and production facilities and the second region in wind energy installation and production capacity. 1. Supported by committed collectives such as Climaxion and the regional COP “Grand Est, Région Verte”, the region is committed to more virtuous uses on a daily basis.
With this first edition on June 11 and 12, 2025, at the Robert Schuman Congress in Metz, Terrentra will highlight the dynamism and commitment of the Grand Est region to the energy transition, drawing on Metz's strategic geographic location. With more than 220.000 inhabitants, this metropolis enjoys growing attractiveness. Located in the heart of a major industrial basin in the northeast of Moselle, and benefiting from a rich agricultural area, Metz benefits from sustained economic dynamism. Its proximity to Luxembourg and Germany gives it a central role in the development of renewable energies, thus reinforcing its status as a key region for the energy transition.
It is in this context that the Terrentra exhibition will present a wide range of past, ongoing, and future initiatives illustrating the region's transformation. Whether it's the production of next-generation batteries for electric vehicles, the energy renovation of buildings, or the capture and storage of carbon from biomass, these projects demonstrate the region's capacity to innovate in the face of energy challenges. By leveraging the development of clean technologies, improving infrastructure, and implementing sustainable solutions, Terrentra will demonstrate how the Grand Est region, with its forward-thinking vision, is positioning itself today as a key leader in the energy transition at the national and European levels.
GREENTECH+ supports stakeholders in the energy transition
An accelerator of the ecological transition, the GreenTech+ division of GL events is establishing itself as a driving force for sustainable transformation. From innovation in new energy systems to supporting the energies of the future, GreenTech+ offers a broad portfolio of exhibitions dedicated to technological solutions: Expobiogaz, Hyvolution, Bepositive, Open Energies, and now Terrentra. Complementary, these leading exhibitions aim to promote energy transition technologies to support the deployment of uses.
GreenTech+ continues its development with the establishment of a dedicated management team for these five trade shows. This governance aims to steer product development while ensuring comprehensive market and regional coverage. This strategy aims to ensure a comprehensive approach to the energy transition while meeting the specific needs of each region, particularly through local events such as the Terrentra trade shows. This dynamic ensures the continuity of exchanges and the complementarity of innovations supporting the energy transition.
